What comics are you reading now?

really enjoying the new Green Lantern Ongoing series. I'm picking it up from the beginning though, so it may go down the toilet after the sinestro wars, i dunno?

JSA
batman and the outsiders

plan on seeing what final crisis and titans are about too

Thor is relly starting to get great
a little political but still good
gl and glc are comic heaven for 3 years now gl has rocked every issue

I picked up a lot of the New Avengers stuff last night at a local going out of business sale.

I re-read Avengers: Illuminati and New Avengers vol. 1 last night to get caught up with all teh skrulliness going on at Marvel right now.

I just read Indiana Jones V1 omnibus by Dark Horse.

It was ok but nothing more.

Hopefully the first Criminal story arc will do better for me.

Criminal and Casanova are two of my favorite books out right now.

Criminal is very very dark as all noir should be, but I love it. Bru and Phillips are a fantastic team, just check out any of their sleeper trades. That was a great book.

anyone read Zorro or Lone Ranger from Dynamite? Just curious as to how good/bad they are.

Not much came out yesterday that interested me so I picked up a few new books just for kicks.

Bad Planet#5. Was a pretty decent read but has anyone read the previous issues? I was kinda lost and curious if the other books were good.

Atomic Robo #1. This one was entertaining as well and I really liked the art. Reminds me of the old tank girl stuff.

I really like the Lone Ranger series. My only complaint is that there's just not much "reading" to it and an issue goes by pretty quick. Otherwise, it's pretty good.

I've only read the first issue of Zorro (is the 2nd one out yet?), but thought it was pretty good too. It's a bit more "wordy" than Lone Ranger.

They're all really good, but Sleeper is one of the best things I've ever read. Casanova is good but gets a little too weird for me sometimes. Criminal is just really good noir.

I picked up the last half dozen or so issues of She Hulk, the end of Dan Slott's run, and the beginning of Peter David's.

It's fantastic. I'm really digging it.

She-Hulk is one of my top books right now. Better than Birds of Prey, even.

I just started, Elementals vol. #1 by Willingham.

I have just read #1 and #2. A very good begining. It sorta..... kinda.... a little bit..... maybe just a touch..... starts like Harby.

Not exactly..... but that is HIGH praise.

I am looking forward to reading a few more this weekend. The art style is simple and easy to follow, I like it.

elementals was one of the comics I started out on, love the series, and the art work even if it is simplistic. as an adolescence I was blown away when I found out they had a sex special.

Just picked up the first issue of the Action/Legion crossover. seems like an interesting storyline. Also picked up a few issues of Justice, just skimmed through an issue, but the artwork alone makes it an impressive comic, went ahead and bought the 1-11 off ebay for like $12 shipped, bought from a guy going by 'Valiantheart'

Just finished reading Justice, what a great read!

I especially loved that it gave some of the spotlight to Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, and Captain Marvel, could of used a little more Hawkman though, but it makes up for that by using the greatest Flash of all time, Barry Allen. I recomend this series to anyone that likes the Justice League.

Yes, I am getting some of the back story, it just took me a few issues to get the different GLs, there is like 4 of them.

I liked that series until #5 when Johns turned Rayner into a drooling fanboy feeling that he didn't deserve to be a GL anymore after that I lost

Haven't read much Willingham, but imo Elementals vol. 1 is his best work to date.

Fables is great, all the way through.

But, I am very excited to finish reading Elementals.
