I got my first one from you pretty cheap ... picked up a couple more since then as part of larger lots.Brother J wrote:Boy, I wonder if I still have some extras of those laying around here somewhere, I once had a stack of these.
Where were you guys when I was selling these on eBay?
When eee was dumping Ultraverse stuff on ebay every week it was still pretty cheap. I bet some of those golds would go for a lot more now.
Remember those signed cards he would sell? Usually for anywhere from $2 to $12? Somebody sold a set last year for more than $200.

We did get some great stuff from Tom, most of that stuff never shows up on eBay. How many of you guys have the Prime Sega CD ashcan? I bet not many other than the few of us that got one directly from Tom Mason.

This is the one I saw http://cgi.ebay.com/FIREARM-James-Jude- ... dZViewItem, my bad but still over $60. I guess if you have that kind of scratch $$ more power to you (but not I says the cheap poor man)

One closer to a full Ultra 5000 set.
Rather interesting - I didn't read this auction too closely at first and thought it was a hologram and put it on my watch list. I re-read it and figured out it was an Ultra 5000 and thought just maybe since it was autographed by Tom Mason it might be something like the Mantra Ultra 5000 Archive edition so I wrote the seller to ask if it came with a CoA or was embossed on the cover just in case. Turns out the seller was the original owner and that he had written a letter to CBG saying that Ultraverse was awesome and Image sucked and Tom Mason mailed him the Ultra 5000 as a thank-you. No CoA, no embossing, but still neat to get the backstory on it.
I did ask him what issue it was and he couldn't remember but he said it was during the hey-day of Ultraverse so that leaves maybe a year and a half window that it could be.

Had them listed as Limited Editions.Draco wrote:Just got me a Rune Ultra 5000 for 50c.
Also what are the alternate covers on items like Pheonix res?
I saw some gold stuff but when i checked the list it had no mention of golds?
Anyone?
Phoenix Resurrection: 0, 0 (Limited edition), 0 (Alternate cover), Gen., Gen. (Limited edition), Rev., Rev. (Limited edition), Aft., Aft. (Limited edition)
'Gold' would be a better description, eh ?

Gold is the winner. I spotted a copy of Exiles Xmen too but they were $15/20 each.Knightt wrote:Had them listed as Limited Editions.Draco wrote:Just got me a Rune Ultra 5000 for 50c.
