My wife bought me a Deathmate red for Xmas as part of my wants list batch.

problem was she was using and old list and the copy she got me was dinged up too.

Oh how we laughed. She has a great sense of humour so i could tell her the truth.

Dude, if its the stuff they did in the early 90's in the US format then you just became odds on favourite for the title.

Me likey shiny Death's Head covers... :insane:
The first batch was ok.

The they got silly.

There were a few exceptions from Deaths head 2 to Mystech Wars, however Gunrunner, Death Wreck, Death metal etc were just plain wrong.

Got to admit it, I love Death's Head II (Mini). I don't know why but I'll never let those books go.

I don't get too concerned about reading copies and I'm not a speculator. If the book has the covers and the covers are attached correctly, I'm content, usually.

"Um, honey, about this Liefeld book. It's no good. And when I say 'no good'...." :atomic:

Just about all of my crummy books took a swim (three long boxes worth) when I left them behind during Katrina including: Darkhawk, lots of 90's Image, and a bunch of weird Batman Elseworlds.

In retrospect, I would not mind rereading the first few Darkhaws though as I remember them being okay.

And, I did evacuate with my better stuff including a near complete set of pre-Unity books!
