The area inside the purple matting is 11" x 8"

I also have some early 80s Spiderman color full interiors- one where he is in the black costume and also the #150 last issue of marvel team-up where its double sized with him and the X-men. If it were teaming up Ninjak and the x-men i'd post scans.. but alas.

I don't have a clue but if anyone does I'd say it would have to be sonicdan. Nice piece by the way.

I'm flattered :). This is the original color art piece tho' right?
(which would make it one of a kind)
I agree as well, nice piece!

It's not the original colors is it? It looks more like a large-scale color version of it.

Yes, it is the original color art. I acquired it early on either from Kingpin Comics or a dealer in Louisianna who's name escapes me. The colors are much brighter and nicer than my camera shows.

Kingpin comics???? Man I forgot about them. Im suprised they havn't been mentioned on the boards before, they were just as instrumental in valiants rise as wizard, imo.

fantastic piece btw

Yup, I still have some of their catalogs from back in the day and they were sure doing their part. They had a LOT of the pre-unity artwork back then also. Another place I used to get Valiant art was from the Edgeman in Texas. I still have a untouched half-case of Shadowman they sold me, the one where Master Darque appears for the first time, plus I think a batch of EW flat golds and a bunch of the glossy Rai 0s, somewhere.

I did a proper 200 dpi scan today, it looks MUCH better though it is still through plastic.
