So I bought the Harbinger HC today
I went to my LCS today. I had only planned on getting the newest issue of Green Lantern Corps but the guy at the front told me they just got the Harbinger HC. They had it displayed right by the door and had a sign by it on the shelf. They even rated it as one of their hot picks for the week. The guys no how big of a Valiant fan so we BS about VEI for a while. Needless to say they are really excited and are hoping for new comics.
Oh yeah and all of their books were the red sticker variant

love the harada story. read it a dozen times alreadyJustCallMeAric wrote:Ok I read the new Harada story and am totally confused. WTF was up with the wife cutting herself? Anyone want to explain?

theres a good discussion of this elsewhere but what i take from it is that noriko is a cutter, a lot of women cut themselves when thier emotional problems overwhelm them. something about physical pain overriding the emotional pain.
as his wife noriko has to be there to support harada (we dont know if she does this of her own free will), she knows what he does and what he is trying to do to help the world but when she hears that another kid (torque) was killed she begins to doubt her faith in harada. also the fact that it is the day that she is supposed to go to see rowena makes it more diffcult to hear. basically shacking up with harada made her nutty...kinda funny that haradas wife is bat *SQUEE* crazy

I am confused about the significance of the date in her planner. The way I read it she seemed to have significance of that day.acc205 wrote:love the harada story. read it a dozen times alreadyJustCallMeAric wrote:Ok I read the new Harada story and am totally confused. she goes to see rowena every year on that date. to remind herself about where she and harada came from, what she is protecting, keep herself honest, all that *SQUEE*. not sure why she picked that day to see rowena annuallyJustCallMeAric wrote:I am confused about the significance of the date in her planner. I'm sorry but I am at a total loss as to what you mean by 'red sticker variant'.JustCallMeAric wrote:

I ordered two copies of the book from Amazon and both had a red sticker on the shrinkwrap cover. What's the regular version? No sticker?
