You know, I did a Ebay search just now for completed auctions and this book doesn't show up
Thats because there are only 5 of them you goon lol.

If its what you wanted, doesnt really matter what you paid. Its rare, and now you own it.
No, I mean the Ebay advanced search for completed listings. It dates back for all sales 2-3 weeks for whatever your search criteria is. Maybe its because I snagged it after 25 mins from auction start?

To be honest, I never knew there was an AP version out there of this book. I know Avalon Studios mad 50 copies with this cover originally. An AP of only five makes it a good grab if its legit but I posted on some other forums and no one seems to be able to validate. I will be happy with just one of these though.

The other versions, (there are two museum covers), I will gobble up as fast as I can, (save one for Zwh). Ideally I would like to have at least 5 copies of each.

It wouldn't surprise me at all that they made an AP. Maxx Black 1 had at least 1 AP that I am an idiot for not buying. And that book is also a special edition with 50 normal copies. Most things have between 10 and 26 AP's. I believe I also have one for the poster edition of the last issue of Promethea.

Last issue of Promethea..... :thumb: That's a hard book....

(no, folks, not the REGULAR issue. ;))

The Maxx Black A/P....was it marked "A/P"?

Store listings will show up in completed searches if you click the box that says "More buying options -- add store inventory".

Fantastic. It's very, very pretty. Since I see the Jays on a fairly regular basis, if they have any (doubtful, as it's been almost 10 years), PM what you're willing to pay (cause they charge top $$, as Elveen can testify) and I'll get it for you.

They charge more than I'm willing to pay, but if you're willing to pay more (and clearly you are. ;)) then that might work. They always have the odd museum here and there.

And yes, it's a brilliant scam. Take unsold copies, slap a "new cover" on them, and make a fortune.

For the two regular editions, I would pay quite a bit if they are in VF/NM shape. Just keep in mind I am only looking for the original Aria #1 museums.

I got my original copies direct from them when they were first produced. I think 125/copy. I wrote them a few times since and no such luck.

They're slackers, so....I wouldn't discount it. They have no idea what they have, they just pull whatever's handy for each convention.

The Stone preview? If so, no thanks. I don't think they made an Aria preview Museum :?

No, not the Stone preview. The "Avalon Studios" preview, which has Stone, Aria, and.....mmmm...the other one (I forget what it was.)

It's got Aria....

Hey, is there anything Aria variant wise that you don't have?

Preview
Preview - Gold linen
#1
#1 Turner (white)
#1 "Museum" (the railing cover)
#1 Speckle
#2
#2 Foil variant
#3
#4
#4 Green Glow
#4 Blue Glow

Aria Sketchbook
Sketchbook "Armor" version
Sketchbook Gold

(Man, I remember, when these first came out, the regular was selling for $30 and the "Armor" was selling for $50! On eBay! Summer of 1999.)

Blanc and Noir #1
#1 DF
#2

Soul Market
#1
#1 DF
#1 DF blue, gold, red (I don't have the red, I don't think.)
#2 various
#3
#4
#5
#6
#6 Brown (never seen this one)

Summer Spell (no variants)
Midwinter's Dream (no variants)
Uses of Enchantment (no variants)

Aria/Angela (plethora...too many. ;))

Anything I'm missing from this list?

#1 "Museum" (the railing cover)
Sketchbook "Armor" version (Museum)
Do you have a pic of the preview? The only issues I need are the two museum variants of #1 and maybe the Sketchbook "Armor" Museum but I haven't actually seen one.

I don't actually like the sketchbook as much because its in color. Sounds kinda silly maybe but I'd still pay $50ish ballpark for it.

Like a lot of us here, I was well into comics before Valiant. The pre-unity stuff though was a nice fresh breath of air.
