No, I mean the Ebay advanced search for completed listings. It dates back for all sales 2-3 weeks for whatever your search criteria is. Maybe its because I snagged it after 25 mins from auction start?Smashey wrote:Thats because there are only 5 of them you goon lol.You know, I did a Ebay search just now for completed auctions and this book doesn't show up
If its what you wanted, doesnt really matter what you paid. Its rare, and now you own it.

To be honest, I never knew there was an AP version out there of this book. I know Avalon Studios mad 50 copies with this cover originally. An AP of only five makes it a good grab if its legit but I posted on some other forums and no one seems to be able to validate. I will be happy with just one of these though.
The other versions, (there are two museum covers), I will gobble up as fast as I can, (save one for Zwh). Ideally I would like to have at least 5 copies of each.

It wouldn't surprise me at all that they made an AP. Maxx Black 1 had at least 1 AP that I am an idiot for not buying. And that book is also a special edition with 50 normal copies. Most things have between 10 and 26 AP's. I believe I also have one for the poster edition of the last issue of Promethea.

Fantastic. It's very, very pretty. Since I see the Jays on a fairly regular basis, if they have any (doubtful, as it's been almost 10 years), PM what you're willing to pay (cause they charge top $$, as Elveen can testify) and I'll get it for you.Jrdawg wrote:
Got it today. Its a glorious thing. Auction description stated VF/NM but this is easliy...EASILY NM+. I might get a lot of crap for it but its going to PGX. I'm a happy camper.
They charge more than I'm willing to pay, but if you're willing to pay more (and clearly you are.

And yes, it's a brilliant scam. Take unsold copies, slap a "new cover" on them, and make a fortune.

I got my original copies direct from them when they were first produced. I think 125/copy. I wrote them a few times since and no such luck.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Fantastic. It's very, very pretty. Do you have a pic of the preview? The only issues I need are the two museum variants of #1 and maybe the Sketchbook "Armor" Museum but I haven't actually seen one.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:No, not the Stone preview.
