I've been looking for this book for years now but this guy is on crack. First, he listed it at $100. No pic was even up and a note the it was VF condition with some creases. Then after I asked for a pic, he sais they are working on it and then raised the price.

What i really dont get dude, is that they just added another cover over the top of the comic.

It just doesnt add up to me.

It sucks that he boosted the price on you. However, if you really want it, with would be worth it. After all, as an Artist's Proof, it is one of only five in existance. IMO, that makes it investment-worthy, even at the extra $50, AND depending on the actual wear or damage that makes it only in VF condition.

Its a Museum paper qulaity cover over the original comic. They are very rare but there isn't a high demand for them....just from people like me. Its way overpriced and I'm trying to work out a deal with him. Its like someone paying $2500 for a Harbinger 1 9.8 without the coupon.

Well if you have doubts about it, just dont buy it. He could have told you other people were interested getting you to get it. Considering his high seller rating, he doesn't need the extra $50 (he probably conned someone out of it to begin with). It boils down to just plain greed.

If you look at his other auctions, all of his scans have that weird stuff all over the place. He just has a crappy scanner, doubt its editing.
