Other Crossovers....

Back in the day when Valiant was steamrolling the competiton they did a few crossavoers with Image,Marvel and darkhorse.For the most part they were ok...Ok,The Marvel crossover was Acclaim,my bad..... Anyway, I thought DeathMate was horrid(The Image books) and Magnus/Predator made no sense back then.I remember writing in to Voyager communications WAY back(I think I was a Sophomore in Highschool) outlining what would have made a MUCH better DH crossover event.At the time it was a no brainer to me and now I'd like some opinions other than my own....

In a nutshell....Skynet wanting to eliminate ANY threats to it's A.I. superiority searches all times/realities and finds Magnus and decrees that he is the greatest threat to it's existence.So Skynet dispatches a Terminator to eliminate the threat....Now I fleshed out the story in the letter but I never even got a response saying that idea sucks or thanks for the input. Now,doesn't this sound like a better crossover than Magnus/Predator??(Note:I realize at the time it was a everyone vs.Pred flavor).

So Magnus VS. Terminator. Valiant/Dark Horse really missed out on a trick there! I imagine it could have been quite dark. But wouldn't Magnus have just tore through a Terminator as he does every other robot?

As I said I fleshed it out....Terminators keep going until they can't go anymore so they send the T2 in the second wave assault.But while being in that "era" something gives it freewill.It could go in many directions as far as Magnus just tearing through him Terminators were a tad more durable that what he was used to dealing with.

I actually really like Magnus vs. Predator, the covers are probably my favorite Valiant covers besides Rai #0.

I've never read Magnus/Nexus but I want to? Anyone know how the story and art are on that?

Magnus /Nexus is good and easy to find.I never said the story was lame just odd.I think Shadowman/Predator or Harbinger/Pred would have been better.

Nice.....Magnus/Hulk and though I'm loath to say it Harbinger/X-Men,better yet Secret Weapons/JLA or Avengers.

I was a tad disppointed with the sequel but liked the AOD crossover a lot...Maybe after darque gets the Necronomicon Ash will show up in the VU!!
