Plasm art and stuff...
Hopefully I put this in the right board (and I know my fellow Valiant fans are also Defiant fans!)

I've got some nifty new illustrations for sale on ebay, including an Ulnareah.
I've been out of the loop for awhile, working on my new Space Devil mini-series. If anyone's interested, here's an as-yet uncolored panel from the first issue.

Enjoy!

Don't worry, XO is (no lie, no exaggeration) my absolute FAVORITE comic book character.
I'll definitely be drawing him again!
One day, when I'm a billionaire I'm going to buy all of the Valiant stuff back from Acclaim or whomever and relaunch the Valiant Universe as a series of graphic novels written and illustrated by all my favorite writers and artists like Grant Morrison and Mark Waid and Geoff Johns and Kurt Busiek and Carlos Pacheco and Chris Sprouse etc etc... and, of course, with executive editorial input from Jim Shooter.
Just a dream of mine...

you might want to check out some of teh threads here. It sounds like you are unaware that Valiant is back and so far Shooter, Bob layton, Bob Hall, Sean Chen have already done work for the new Valiant.

Honest question, not to be taken the wrong way.
Is it even legal to draw other peoples published characters, and sell them as original art? Since VEI owns the rights to X-O, wouldnt they frown on it?
Cant imagine being able to make a Harbinger movie poster, and selling them on ebay without some kind of repercussuions.

Are you going to shut down artist alley at every comic convention around the world though?
There seems to be a sort of silent agreement in place.

For the most part, I keep my ebay stuff to obscure characters that either no one owns or the big publishers don't care about. I'll probably lay off the Valiant stuff for now (except as commissions of course).
The ebay stuff is mainly a cheap way to get my art visible and sort of advertise that I do commissions and who I am.

but seriously, pm dino on the board and ask him before you quit completely. He is one of the big cheeses and the new Valiant. You never know where it may lead
