So I was digging around in a .25 bin yesterday and found Second Life of Dr Mirage 1 GOLD (1993)! In Near Mint condition! also picked up Deathmate yellow for .75.

You know, I could dig in .25 bins all day and the best I think I ever found was Rai #5. Congrats on the find!

My first copy of SLODM gold was 50plast year dude. So much fun.
I spend at least an hour of each show i sell at trawling the 25/50p bins.
I bought box at the last one and paid £40 for nearly 250 Valiants, Nexus etc
The dude threw in two Rai & FF # 9 vvss for free.
nice

They are getting few and far between in my area. There used to be quarter boxes at just about every shop a few years ago.

We specialise in 25/50p boxes at the shows and it works really well for us.
Our stall is always the busiest and we always add new stock.
We keep it all in order too so we get alot of repeat business.
i would go mad if i could not look through cheap bins. Mad i tell you.

There are still quarter boxes here but I fear they are dying out. Dollar boxes are much more common.

The quarter bins here in town are at the Great Escape but they put the price stickers right on the comic so i don't buy there. ruins the book.
Congrats on the Gold Find!!

I love Sunday at the WizardWorld Chicago show each summer. A few dealers drop the cheap stuff to 10 cents each. You can't go wrong with that. It's great for filling in runs or trying out new books.
