Crossgen TPB's

Post by Smashey »

Can someone break this down for me please.

To my understanding, there are regular TPB's, travel editions, forge, and edge series? Bringing that count of tpbs to like 70? My lord

I know whats on ebay right now, i can check completed auctions etc and see what some have sold for. But the price difference is so vast, I want to know some crossgen collectors thoughts.

What should I be looking to pay for the forges, edges and regular tpbs? I have seen them anywhere between $3 up to like $20.

Seems like TPB's is goin to be a major thorn in completing this DU, 70 tpb's is alot O cash.

It just depends on how bad the retailer wants to get rid of them. I've seen Forge and Edge sold for buck a pop at the comic shop I frequent.

ya edge and forge seem more affordable. The regular issue tpb's look like they can get prety pricey though. Meridian, Sojourn, Sigil etc

I had a guy give me one.

The Sojourn TPB seem to bring the most $$$ on ebay.

i picked up 15 tpb's today, not the edge or forge, the regular ones, $5 bucks a pop, seemed fair, and hard to find that many in one spot. Wish there werent so damn many of them, its gonna add up quick to get them all.

Sojourn will always sell decently since its not just a crossgen following that are into it.

That's a good enough deal at $5. The large number of trades makes the Crossgen full publisher set less affordable and apart from Edge and Forge is hard to find them super, seuper cheap.

I was just looking at Diamond's "shipping tomorrow" list and it mentions Negation, Sojourn and Sigil TPBs.

Are these still in production?

This post is kinda old, since i did alot o crossgen research lol.

But ya, Checker took over on publishing Crossgen tpbs, they are real nice looking books. Heres a link to checkers upcomming crossgen books.

Its nice because they continue right off of where CG left off with them.
