I think that all the VH-2 properties that are listed are "Independent." Which speaks volumes. So I would assume U2K would also be "independent" and separate from VALIANT continuity.cjv wrote:Here is a question. Does the information in the Valiant wiki indicate the direction that VEI is going to take when it comes to restarting/continuing the Valiant Universe? IE, if something is mentioned in the Valiant wiki, is it "gospel" when it comes to VEI? For example, Unity and Rai 0 events are mentioned, but post Unity stuff doesn't really seem to be listed. Nor is stuff from Unity 2000. Does that mean anything?

That makes me happier than an emoticon can convey!

Thats the biggest thing I noticed about the Valiant site today.BloodOfHeroes wrote:I think that all the VH-2 properties that are listed are "Independent." Which speaks volumes. I did enjoy Acclaim material, but I am very excited to see that the direction seems to be a direct continuation of original Valiant.

Nice bet hedging.dino wrote:The Book of Geomancer is a summary of the published history of the Valiant Universe and is written by everyone. Today, on the Book of Geomancers:
Geomancer#7 & #8
And
Eternal Warrior#28,#29, #30 , & #31
(Re: Eternal Warrior #31.
As a writer who is working on a King Arthur-inspired graphic novel, I can't help but feel offended at Ostrander's blatant ignorance of the myth.
It was the Battle of Camlann, not Camian, and there is no logic in Gilad ever having been King Arthur.
Just gotta remember, this is the same "professional writer" who couldn't get the name of Synchron straight).

Today, at the Book of Geomancers:
Eternal Warrior#32 - #34
(Re: Eternal Warrior #33.
Once again, Ostrander shows his ignorance and calls Neville Alcott "Neville Sinclair", while the penciller drew someone who was neither Neville NOR Sinclair.
Unlike the error in the previous summary, I'm not gonna address this screw up in the summary.
They replaced Vanhook with this guy? He couldn't even bother to properly research what he was writing!
Note to VEI: Don't be fooled by a writer or editor's populary, find talented people who will commit to the work, not prima donnas looking to cash a paycheck).

Not to turn this into a 'bag on Ostrander' thread, but I always hated all his little mistakes in Magnus (i.e. 'Cloud Cloddies' was suddenly 'Cloud Cloppies'ManofTheAtom wrote:As a writer who is working on a King Arthur-inspired graphic novel, I can't help but feel offended at Ostrander's blatant ignorance of the myth.
