WonderCon 2008, San Francisco

WonderCon is February 22-24 in San Francisco, downtown at the Moscone Center.

Who's going? I'll be there all three days. I'm starting to think about my plans for the show, so I thought I would throw up this post.

I figure I'll take the lead and plan a get together for all the board members who show, at least some sort of meet up for burgers and a few beers.

I know I will be going to a few other get togethers throughout the weekend, so I am trying to see if there is enough interest in a ValiantFans dinner, and what day would be best for everyone.

Come on out, Cali folk!

I'd love to go but we're expecting our first baby mid-Feb. If I go to WonderCon this year, I think my comics will turn to ashes.

wish I could go to this show, bet there will be a lot of sweet underground comix there considering SF was the mecca for them back in the day.

I don't recall seeing a lot of thee in the past here, strangely enough.

That would be because Brother J doesn't get to SF that often.....and it's the 21st century, not the 16th....

never been there, period. I know there's usually at least one underground guy that does that show, he used to mention it on the underground comix message board over at CPG.

I'd love to get out to San Fran sometime and check out some of the comic shops and used book places, I bet I could find some gems.
