Why are you using a fake universe as proof? You just want DC-Lite.
I'm using an example from a comic that exist in the VALIANT Universe as proof.
A comic that exists in the VALIANT Universe is a work of fiction, not based upon the VALIANT reality.

You can't use something not based upon VALIANT reality to prove a VALIANT reality.

You might as well use Elf Quest as proof of something, since Faith Herbert wears the T-Shirt.
This is what I'm talking about.

When faced with questions that challenge your suggestions, you act like *SQUEE*.

You know perfectly well that I mentioned Clark and Superman as examples of a hero's secret identity, not for any relevant context with the story of how Shadowman died, but it's easier for you to be an *SQUEE* than actually offer anything constructive to the argument at hand

That's the problem with this debate, you guys are too lazy to do the work requiered to back up your claims. You think that pouting and saying that it's your opinion is the only thing that counts is enough.

The whole board... the WHOLE board... is filled with guys who KNOW that anything is possible.

Not that it would all be good... some possibilities would SUCK, but they're still POSSIBLE.

You are the only one who wants to say "NO, NO, NO".

You fall on the floor kicking and screaming, "No! My way! I want! Me right! You wrong!"

The rest of us stand around talking about what COULD be possible,
and we wonder what's wrong with that child kicking and screaming on the floor.

When you're ready to grow up, we'll be waiting.

Maybe that's how you want to think it's gone, but you are wrong.

So far the argument you have made is "Shadowman won't die, that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. I don't have to prove it to be right".

I'm telling you that yes, you do have to prove it. I've proved to you many times over that he does, indeed, die.

I didn't tell you that he died, I didn't ask you to take my word for it, I provided PROOF.

You, on the other hand, refuse to do so.

In the rare instance when someone like jedi offers a possibility, the y throw tantrums when asked to elaborate on them.

It's easie for you to be *SQUEE* and post gifs than actually get off your butts and offer evidence to support your argument.

On the other hand, that's all I've done. I've shown you quotes from the comics, samples from the comics, issue numbers, and other stuff that backs up my opinion on the subject.

Saying that anything is possible, and saying that it's your opinion, and pouting,is not evidence that you're right, it's evidence that you CANNOT back up your argument.

We know all this. We've read the comics. Problem is that the books were canceled before the stories could be fleshed out. So we speculate.

I don't think anyone denies that a Shadowman would die in 1999.

Some very good questions have been raised.

Would "Shadowman" mean Maxim St. James? Would it be the Shadowman from 1999? (Shadowman can time travel.) Could it be a third Shadowman? If there are two Shadowmen, can't there be three?

Since except for the deaths of Jack and Archer, everything else in Rai #0 came true as shown, there is no reason to doubt that those two won't happen as shown as well.

You're going to say that it doesn't say that Jack dies, that it could have been Maxim, I'll ask you why the records say that Jack died, and you're going to throw a tantrum instead of reply.

Death of SHADOWMAN.

Not necessarily death of JACK BONIFACE.

Then why do the records say that Jack died?

How can Jack survive without darque power when Nettie made it clear that he couldn't?

Where was Jack?

Are you going to answer the questions, or throw a tantrum and post gifs too because you don't have an answer?

Alright. These records you speak of. Could have Mothergod fudged these records of Jacks death knowing of Elyla's growing infatuation with him?

No, the records say that Jack died. Read Unity.

Read the comics, the answers are there.

Failed attempt to break up Jack and Elya.

Makes as much sense as Chewbacca, a wookie from the planet Kashyyyk, fighting alongside the Ewoks on the forest moon of Endor.

It kept him out of most of the Unity war after he recovered.

Really? They show the records that specifically say "Jack Boniface died" and not "Shadowman died"?

I just remember Elya mentioning them. And saying that Shadowman dies in 1999. Did she know about Maxim and if he survived?

Why would she want him out of Unity? He saved her from Solar and was on her side. He even fought against Archer & Aram when he broke out of the complex.

Why would Mothergod would want someone with powers that was clearly on her side of the conflict, to stay out of the fight?

And there is no indication that was fear of dying in 1999 that kept him in Elya's care. That doesn't even make sense. Why would fear of dying in 1999 keep him locked in a room in a place where time is meaningles?

If she did it was irrelevant since she didn't meet Maxim, she met Jack Dominique Boniface.

Or were the records wrong about his second name? Was his second name really Chuck but he didn't want to tell her that she got it wrong?

Which means that it makes no sense at all. Jedi's just making absurb suggestions because he has no proof to support his agument, and he knows it, he just can't admit it.

But it is relevant. If she didn't know about Maxim and saw that Shadowman died in 1999 and just assumed it was Jack, she could have been telling him about Maxim's death.

Rai # 0 page 7 panel 1- mentions that Shadowman dies.

Can't find reference to Jack anywhere in the comic.

But more interestingly page 2 panel 3 - Geoff: There's lots of stuff messed up in the timestream cause of that war and it's up to us geomancers to set it straight

There is your proof MOTA. The timestream is messed up and nowhere does it say all problems were all sorted and all is well in the world.

but if it is all a dream as X-O says, how can any evidence be conclusive?

Jedi has some good points and is raising more doubt that Jack died in 1999 than you are encouraging the certainty that he did.
