Never heard of them. Then again, there's a lot of Indy stuff I've never heard ofIMJ wrote:They published Ghostbusters and several others. I remember them having really nice paper quality for the time. Come to think of it, I'll bet that many of those are relatively scarce now...
Thoughts?

Never picked them out when they on the racks at the local diner that sold them mostly because I wasn't intertested in thier material back then. But now that quite a bit into horror(which they had a pretty good library of), I whish I snagged those Fright Night books of thier's. Would've loved to read the further adventures of Peter Vincient and Charlie Brewster.
Re: Anybody Remember NOW comics?
I read a few of the NOW series back in the day. Mainly Fright Night and Speed Racer. But a few years back I started collecting the Green Hornet,Fright Night,Speed Racer,Racer x,and Married with Children comics. Hit the mother lode of Married with Children comics this year at Coast con. Got about 15 issues for a cheap price. And after over a decade I finally got to read the ending of the MWC Quantum Quartet mini series.

Yeah I used to read Green Hornet as well. I still have all my issues and I've loved the covers too. I was trying to find some of the original art but only found one that is not for sale unfortunately. I love this one!

Looks like I have the tough one, the last issue flipbook that combined issues #3 and #4. The first two issues don't appear to be as tough to find, but I still need them.Doorman wrote:Married With Children: Quantum Quartet is, indeed, a rare find in its entirety!newt138 wrote:I read a few of the NOW series back in the day. I have had the first 2 issues of the mini since they came out. But never saw the final flipbook issue. For years I just assumed it had never come out. Then this year at Coast Con I found it in a cheap bin. So I finally got to learn the secret idenity of Male Nurse Doom. And it wasn't who I thought it would be at all.

Yeah - #1 & 2 aren't impossible to find ... but they're not common.
That final flipbook of #3/4 is super rare. I've flipped through hundreds of thousands of comics and only ever seen one in my lifetime.

Re: Anybody Remember NOW comics?
I loved the NOW Green Hornet.
Wrote about it earlier this year:
http://blog.newsok.com/nerdage/2011/01/ ... cs-series/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Something about NOW really gets my nostalgia going, maybe because they were the weird offbrand comics that I only saw every so often as a kid, it made them seem more magical somehow.
I also love, love, love the first NOW Terminator cover.
