Unanswered questions of the Valiant Universe
So, what unresolved storylines, unanswered questions, and dangling plots and characters would you like to see resolved in the new Valiant Universe?
I am not talking about what happened in the last issue of each comic (ie, is it all a dream or is it all real, from XO Manowar). Instead, I am talking about things that were brought up in earlier issues of the comics, and then seemingly forgotten.
I can think of a couple of Archer and Armstrong. Andromeda (which we have discussed before) had never really been examined. Is she a Harbinger? Something else?
The other one from A&A that I would like to see explored is Armstrong's satchel. From what I recall, once Armstrong got it back, nothing was ever really made of it again.
Any others?
Chris

When I opened that thread suggesting that the short story in the A&A HC reveal why the Sect hated Aram, I had forgotten about this story too.Elveen wrote:ManofTheAtom wrote:I think that question is answered in A&A #25, which title is The Root of The Problem – Part I (Or What I Did To Infuriate The Sect).Elveen wrote:I would like more about the Sect.
Why are they only after Aram, and not Gilly?

I hate when I forget stuff. Getting old.
It doesn't help that the A&A #25 page on the site only says "Or What I Did To Infuriate The" in the title line, lol.

He was a chinese general named Chen who was reincarnated upon his death.MProyas wrote:Except the reason in A&A #25 sucked and I want a retcon. I thought the job Neville was having Gil do went to Bloodshot but I could be recalling wrong.
I kinda hope the Eternal Warrior story would focus on the Eternal Enemy, I don't recall if his origin was ever revealed.
He wasn't as old as Gilad, but he remembered everything upon each reincarnation. Over time, he learned how to jump out of his body upon his death rather than rely on a rebirth process.

We never did find out how/why he got his powers, did we?Chiclo wrote:He was a chinese general named Chen who was reincarnated upon his death.MProyas wrote:Except the reason in A&A #25 sucked and I want a retcon. Was Chen his first incarnation?

Archer appeared in an issue of Turok after Birthquake. He mentioned Aram being out on a hunt or something. I don't remember if Geoff was brought up.J-Scott-R wrote:I would like to see what happened to Archer and Armstrong, as well as Geoff McHenry, after they were sent to the Lost Land during the Chaos Effect, I know they eventually got out but I don't think it was ever explained how, or what happened to them while they were there.

And I remember Aram in a few issues of Magnus as well and I know they were all around well into the 21st century according to Rai #0, maybe VEI will show how they got back to the current time if they ever do a Harbinger Wars story.ManofTheAtom wrote:Archer appeared in an issue of Turok after Birthquake. Well, the Aram in those issues of Magnus was the Aram of the 41st Century, not the Aram of the 20th sent to the future.J-Scott-R wrote:And I remember Aram in a few issues of Magnus as well and I know they were all around well into the 21st century according to Rai #0, maybe VEI will show how they got back to the current time if they ever do a Harbinger Wars story.ManofTheAtom wrote:Archer appeared in an issue of Turok after Birthquake. Geoff, Aram, and Archer had to come back before 1999, or maybe in time for the 99 event.
It be good if VEI did a mini about the real 99 event that began with their return from the Lost Land.

I want more than anything to hear more about what happened to Sho-Sugino (2nd Rai). For some reason his story in Secrets 3 resonated with me. I would love to see VEI do something with this character.
Last we seen him he was in the lost land and bringing him back seems at least possible due to that fact alone.

I'd like to know more about the hints that were dropped in Solar #7 about the gods of the Spider Aliens. The Manowar pilot that Solar killed mentioned about 2-3 times that Solar was "like their gods." It suggested to me that perhaps we would eventually see a conflict between Solar and the actual energy beings who were the gods of the Spider Aliens and sent them on their genocidal quest into the universe.

The Detention Squad was well on its way to become the next Harbinger Resistance group, and I think that after Visitor 13, Pete, Flamingo, and Chan had decided to go find them to join them. The Harbinger wrote:What happens to Detention Squad after Harb #41?
What happens to Solar's other world from Jurgens' run after he leaves? The world was still in chaos, after all.
I'm sure there are plenty of others
As for Solar's world, Solar merged with its sun to keep it estable.
