No SDCC Valiant panel for 2008

No SDCC Valiant panel for 2008
I've thought about this for SOME time and thought I would let you all know I'm taking 2008 off from putting together a Fan panel at SDCC this year.
This was a really Hard thing to do. I have enjoyed doing it the last three years. This comes down to several things, one of them my sanity.
Anyone who has seen John in NY or me at SDCC know that you have NO time for yourself when you put one of these together. This takes over my life for about three months and I'm ready to have some fun at SDCC for a change.
Getting signatures and maiking sure your panel guests know what time the panel is and bringing all the stuff you bring to the panel. Getting panel Guests through phone calls and Emails, You would be suprised how much time things like this take to put together.
I'm going to take 2008 off from SDCC. I hope those members that do come for the SDCC experiance can get together on Friday or Sat night for drinks or dinner
I wanted to let everyone know before the hotel booking was going to take place on Feb 6th through www.comic-con.org
Any questions about this please go ahead. I hope that in 2009 we have NEW Valiant books to chat about at the panel and not a retread of the same old things. Thanks for your support I'll be at SDCC all avalible days.
