Geomancer 1 error/variant? This is huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Uh, guys?
You are NOT going to believe what I found!
All this incredible X-O Ivory excitement got me to thinking.
What about all the other Chromium books?
So I spent some time looking through all my books with wraparound foil covers.
Bloodshot 0's..............nothing.
Ninjak 1's................all normal.
Shadowman 0's................no noticeable differences.
X-O 0's................all white.
But then I looked at my 2 copies of Geomancer 1.
The first one looks like every other copy.
But then I noticed something on my second copy.
The front cover looks perfectly ordinary.

Normal right?
But then I flipped it over.
And I couldn't believe my eyes.
You are NOT going to BELIEVE this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has anyone ever seen this before?????
Are you ready?
Good luck EVER finding another copy like this?
Get ready for this MIND-BLOWING discovery.
Someone get CGC on the phone.
They DEFINITELY need to know about this one!
Every TRUE Valiant fan will DEMAND to know about it!

Simply stunning.
The back cover is COVERED with Cheerios.
There's simply NO WAY this was done on purpose.
The Cheerios seem to be stuck to the back cover, but I see no signs of glue or tape. They are present on the back cover only. No evidence on the front cover or any interior pages. The spline is also Cheerio free. They are actually a part of the comic!
But is it an error or a variant?
I've never seen one before. But I only ever owned these two copies.
One possible clue as to it's origin is where I obtained it.

The weird thing? This is a new box, but the Cheerios inside taste like they are from 1993.
However, Geomancer 1 came out in 1994!
So I have NO idea.
As you might expect, I will not be accepting offers on this just yet.
At least not until CGC has a chance to grade this masterpiece.

I could make one of those easy... I've got some pull to make this happen.Dr. Solar wrote:If you get the "milk-stained" variant, you can have a complete breakfast set!
OH you wrote MILK... well yeah, we could do that as well.
A book that is shiney AND helps reduce colesterol (or is that just the plain Cheerios ?).

EXCITING NEWS!!!!!!
I just got off the phone with the great folks at CGC.
They have agreed, SIGHT UNSEEN, to give this the highest grade they have EVER given comic book since their inception.
This is simply AMAZING, but who can blame them?
You are looking at the first ever....
One of a kind....
Ultra rare....
...Geomancer 1 Cheerio Variant CGC 11.
You read that right! Eleven!!!!
Actual conversation:
Me: "Eleven? Is that even possible?"
CGC: "Well it's the best one ever."
Me: "But isn't 10 the best?"
CGC: "Well this is ONE better."
Me: "But if it's the best one in existence, why don't you just give it a 10 and call THAT the best one?"
CGC: ".....................................................well this one's an eleven."
So there you have it. CGC 11.
And who can argue with CGC? They're the experts!
And yes, they have decided to call it a VARIANT, not an error. Because how could something so stunning and unique happen on accident?
Their theory is that someone did this ON PURPOSE, to create a collectible the likes of which has NEVER been seen before.
But wait, it's gets better!
No sooner had I gotten off the phone when I got an email from Churck Ro(bunch of letters)ski at Mile High Comics.
Somehow, through the globe spanning power of the Indynet, he had heard of my amazing discovery.
Out of nothing but kindness and generosity, he offered - I dare say he DEMANDED - to help me by offering it for sale on his website, free of charge.
Price: $75,000.
Of course it's going to be a part of his upcoming 40% off sale, so some lucky fan will snag this beauty for the paltry sum of $45,000.
NOW SETTLE DOWN! I know it seems like a lot, but those are AMERICAN dollars.
So it's actually quite a steal.
But really, it's not about the money.
It's about helping people.
And providing a SERVICE.
My only wish is to ENSURE this priceless, one-of-a-kind collectable goes to the worlds #1 Valiant fan.
Which is, of course, the one with the most money.
