no gloves, no Shooter, but it is described as NM+Daniel Jackson wrote:For that price Shooter better be wearing the gloves and delivering the book himself.......myron wrote:that the one that comes with the gloves and such???
I don't think the price is outrageous, I've seen it go for more. That makes me all the more happy I got mine for $5 out of a comic shop bin.

Sorry, man, you were probably too focused on snagging VALIANT books.
Re: I just won a copy of The Birth of the Defiant Universe
eh, I think that the book went for $20 more than it should have (IMO). I picked up mine for $12 which is a nice price but I think that this book should be around $30-$35 unless it is one of those 'last book I need for my collection and don't mind paying extra for it' kind of things.Daniel Jackson wrote:For that price Shooter better be wearing the gloves and delivering the book himself.......myron wrote:that the one that comes with the gloves and such???
Having the gloves and the whole 9 yards would be a GREAT find. Last set like that I saw on Ebay went for slightly over $100.

Sure does and it's not the first time they've pulled a stunt like that on me either.Lightning Strike wrote:That stinksDaniel Jackson wrote:Yowsa, that's a lot of $$$ for a Defiant book. I won a Mile High BIN auction last year for 4 bucks for this book and they sent me one of those lame "sorry we don't have it" emails. I think I see why they conveniently backed out of the deal now.
