I've got two.

One by itself and one still bound in Previews along with Plasm 0.

It's a preview like mentioned already, but I don't see a listing of Deathmate Orange in the site inventory like Blue or Yellow. Wasn't the fight scene on the cover in Deathmate Yellow?

I think the insides of Deathmate Orange and Pink are identical.

Maybe it's Deathmate Green.

One of those.

If you look for "Deathmate Orange" you are not going to find much. You have to search for the issue of Previews it was bound into. They are for sale all the time, very common. There's usually a mention of the Plasm 0 too, since it was bound in also. Batman cover. 1993.

I'm not sure if I've seen one that was not originally bound into previews. I've had a few that someone really tried hard to separate cleanly from the previews binding, but you could always tell.

I assume this is true - one was bound into previews and the other was not.

The reason you're not seeing it is because it's not listed the way you're thinking. It's a preview, so it's listed as Deathmate Preview Orange, just like Deathmate Preview Pink.

Is it in the magazine with a perforated edge? I don't see how this can ever be Mint enough for slabbing. :?

No, not a perforated edge, you have to cut it out or remove it some other way. As such, the spine is almost always very jagged when you see one of these removed from the Previews.

I agree -- many people saved that issue of Previews. It's fairly common.

For a much tougher challenge, try putting together the entire STARTING OVER Acclaim storyline from Previews circa 1997.
And that story has never been reprinted.

FYI, I emailed the seller and this auction does not include the deathmate orange. It has been ripped out.
