Good luck finding any newsstand in NM+ condition, let alone this one.
Also, what guide are you referring to and why would I sell NM+ comics at guide and not above guide?

Valiant NM+
Because guide is market. There is also a discount because they have not been graded for restoration. I am looking for someone who has extra copies in their collection. thanks for the response.

Re: Valiant NM+
The guide on this site hasn't been updated in almost a year and a half. And you should probably refer to that if that's what you mean.jduran2 wrote:Because guide is market. As far as a "discount" for not being slabbed....no offense, but you're smokin' crack. Those prices are for UNSLABBED, "graded NM" raw copies.
And as far as restoration....that's really not a concern for modern books....yet.

Re: Looking to Buy Destroyer 0 2.50 price on cover NM+
For NM+ books you'd probably have to pay a premium on top of market value. (maybe 30%). Most people here are savvy enough to grade a NM+ book and auction the cgc 9.6-9.8 that comes back.jduran2 wrote:Thanks. Also any Chaos Gold NM+ Unity Red Raw NM+ or Magnus 12 NM+ at guide.
Chaos Gold and Magnus 12 should be pretty easy to come by.
Unity Red is not so tough either if you are willing to put up the $.
Destroyer 0 2.5 price variant is a very tough book to come by and when it does you'll be bidding against quite a few other people for it.
best of luck

Re: Valiant NM+
So basically, you want to pay the outdated guide price for books that should come back 9.6 or 9.8 from CGC so that you can turn them around on ebay? No thanks.jduran2 wrote:Because guide is market. Re: Valiant NM+
Not true... guide value for these rare books is rarely going to equate to market value. For that matter, guide is rarely true current market value for any book no matter what guide you talk about.jduran2 wrote:Because guide is market. I thought this was a buy sell forum
I just went on the forum looking for books and all of a sudden I am a crack head. What has happened to this forum? By guide I meant Valiantcomics.com who has the most recent prices for raw comics. I do get moderns with color touch up all the time which is sad. Thanks.

I'm relatively certain there is not a single valiant on the Census with a purple label. Is it easy for you to check me on that, Greg?
Yes but you are "our lovable crack-head"...all of a sudden I am a crack head

These aren't necessarily all color touched, either....likely, but not necessarily...greg wrote:7 restored Valiant books on the census.ckb wrote:SERIOUSLY?? Hey man, i'm getting hosed with the USD in the gutter, with the cash in my trading account being based in that peso...one of the few Canadians not liking this at all. I would be great if i were in a buying mood...
