This is wild...
Wow. I've been a hardcore Valiant fanboy since Highschool and all this time I thought I was the only one left. I'm something of a Johnny-come-lately to the Valiant universe. I recieved a few scattered segments of the Unity saga from my brother back in '96 or'97. I'd listened to him rave about Valiant comics for years, but never quite got around to checking them out. Those five or six books, however, gave me all the window I needed. Within a few months, I found the first 20 issues of Solar: Man of the Atom at an antique toy show (50 cents a piece, three for a dollar), and then there was simply no turning back. I've spent the last eight years of my life trolling quarter bins, garage sales, and flea markets for the missing links in my collection, and I preach the Valiant gosple to anyone who'll listen (hard to do, anyone who remembers Valiant comics will most likely look at you as though you've got two heads if you tell them you're a fan). This site is a dream come true; I'm really stoked to know that we haven't all been hunted to extinction.
