I've got a really great collection of GI Joe loose stuff that I need to move. They are almost all complete and I keep them bagged using their file cards (which I clipped as a kid) as backing boards. Makes for a really cool display...
No, there's no market for loose figures. I'd be happy to take them off your hands and get them out of your way. :D

Did they package them holding the gun? And it stayed all this time? Awesome. Did you get orders in for the SDCC Destro(s) before they sold out, or do you care? (And is that one the same mold as Pimp Daddy Destro?)

Didn't figure they would destroy the value of the superscarce PDD (as Master Collector has avoided releasing G2 Stunticons, Protectobots, ATB Megatron, or motorcycle Soundwave and Jazz) but with that paintjob, I had to ask. Ask, but not actually go all the way to yojoe.com. I did just find http://projectpdd.googlepages.com/ for more information though. I do love ridiculously rare toys that actually exist though (Feliner prototype, Lucky Draws). ::note to self-Get SEVERELY rich::

Sweet!

The Crimson Guard, Firefly, and Cobra Officer were some of my favorite cobra figures. I think I have all three of them loose.

I have been getting really nastolgic for Joes lately. I don't really care for figures still in the package, so that might make things easier if I get caught up in that. I would love to have one of each figure from 1986 and before.

Yes. But dang, buying MOC is more expensive than I remember.

Fresh out of college, I got my first real job in 2001. I really wanted to jump into collecting these, but then I went and got married. So it didn't feel like I could afford it at the time.

I remember bidding on several Beach Heads at $30, and getting outbid by $1 or $2. Since last August I've bought 3 Beach Heads and paid $112, $80 and $60. I only want one, but I'm learning not everyone selling these is completely honest in their descrptions.

Anyway, I also got Mutt, Low-Light, Dial-Tone and Law. The first versions. None of them are perfect. I just can't afford AFA ones.

I want to get some more, but I gotta wait until I can make some extra money for it. Meanwhile I've spent alot on mint loose samples.

In fact this is why I sold all my Gold Valiant books for $220. To pay for all this Joe stuff.

I bought a mint loose Storm Shadow off a guy, and he emailed me that he had many more Joes, but he didn't know anything about them. After looking at some pictures I offered him $100.

I got about 60 loose Joes from '84 to '87. All complete and unplayed with. Including an '85 Snake-Eyes, a Crimson Guard, a BATS, and a Version "A" Starduster.

Plus he threw in several smaller vehicles, which included a perfect copy of the Jeep from the Dreadnok Ground Assult set.

I've also bought a Transportable Tactical Battle Platform in the box (I just took it out and set it up the other day - that was fun) and a Moray Hydrofoil.

Right now I really want a Killer Whale, a Mauler, a few more loose figures then I'm going to look at the MOC ones again.

I remember lusting for a USS Flagg at TRU, but now, where would I put the thing? So my "holy grail" is the Defiant. I thought it was kinda lame when it came out, but now it just seems like total '80's coolness!

But that's totally "someday", as I really want to get more MOC ones. Until then I've also been collecting uncut file cards. With the bubbles ripped off they aren't quite as pretty as MOC, but they still look cool to me.

I'm hoping that, as the movie gets closer, there will be a little more MOC "supply" to go with all the "demand".

Oh this was great.

There was a guy selling a MOC '85 Snake-Eyes for some exhorbant BIN. It had a small tear where the price sticker had been removed, but other than that was perfect with a peach file card. I made a best offer of $200, but the offer expired right before the auction ended. He emailed me and said he was going to wait until the last second to see if anyone would offer more. If not he'd sell it to me for $200.

Well, he must of forgot, because the auction ended and he didn't accept my offer.

So he relisted it with a $200 BIN. And didn't tell me.

So someone else got it. :!:

I saw a "very little wear" version A Starduster go for $122. So I could sell that and everything else was free.

No, I think (could be miixng it up) the Recondo chest is the toughest to find. Called Version B. That said I have never seen one of those bagged, but I have seen the others bagged which leads me to maybe agree with others that perhaps the B version are multiple loose figures that were made by collectors. if someone has a bagged one (that's authentic) I'd like to see it. There are at leas two legitmate v1's and possibly 3 and there was a v2 one as well.

I have no idea which is the toughest to find. I always wanted the first one because it's the one that came with the cereal. And, well, it was first.

I got this in the mail today. I'm totally stoked!

Image

The bubbles not perfect. But it's good enough for me. The card couldn't be more perfect.

I bought it 35 minuets after it was listed. A little risky, but it turned out great!

Here's a couple more shots. It's not everything I own, but the a good chunk of it. There's more in the red dresser, I just haven't displayed everything yet. The second shelf there has about 75 MLC figures.

When this thread was started, I had none of this.

No interest.

They look ok, but I only collect Joes because they remind me of my childhood. In fact I don't collect ANYTHING that can be bought new in a store.

If/when Valiant actually makes this comeback that might change.
