I know this may pi$$ some of yall off but I downloaded the whole set of VH1 universe off of the net. If someone would like a copy on disk let me know. I am willing to trade out for some comics that I am missing.

Neither am I but it does not really matter if you have the whole set or not. If you/he made the backups for your personal use, that would be fine. Downloading them or buying them is illegal. I had to hear about it since I bought the whole set on CD-ROM some time ago and tried to do the same thing he is doing. We had this debate awhile back about copyrights and file sharing and what not. Roms as well. You make the backups for your use, great. Anything else,k_c_collectibles wrote:It would be different if you had the electronic copies as backups for your hard copies. I THINK that is legal, but I do not know for sure. I am not a copyright or trademark lawyer.![]()

That's correct. You can't distribute what you don't own... even for free.
If you actually own one copy of the comics, you can sell, giveaway, or burn that one copy.
If you don't own two, you can't keep one and give one away.
If you don't own 100, you can't keep one and give 99 away.
Just because it's "free" doesn't mean it's legal.
Even if it's tolerated (and celebrated) elsewhere,
it won't be going on here. It's not worth it.
