Maybe selling my collection
I might be selling my collection. I have a number of bills, and having been out of work for the past 3 months has really hurt.
Here is a link to the fairly recent inventory (although I have added a few more, and don't have quite as many duplicate in some cases) link
Out of curiousity
a) What do you think I might be able to get for this collection? Either selling it whole, or separately. I am also thinking about CGCing some of the high end books (pre Unities, golds, VVSS, etc).
b) anyone here interested in making an offer?
The whole thing takes up about 7 long boxes.
Chris

Hey
I hate to hear about your situation. After reading many of the post here there seems to be some big players on this board who could/would probably make you an offer in a couple days. I could make you an offer but you would either be incredible miffed or find it the most humorous thing you have ever read!
Seriously if you decide you want to sell and that you would break up the collection I am interested in several titles/ issues. GOOD LUCK!

I would list the entire collection on eBay. Timming is everything around this time of year, though. I would try & list these the week after X-Mas when everyone has the extra holiday pay on their checks.

Yeah, if I had a full run to sell, I'd put it on the 'bay and see what I could get for it as a full run. You can always try that a couple of times, and then if it doesn't sell, you can break it into smaller sets and see if folks will bite.
I recently bought runs of Solar, X-O, Magnus, Armorines, Hard Corps, and Bloodshot off ebay, so there is interest in buying runs. Sometimes I buy a whole run just to get a few that I'm missing, then turn around and try to get rid of the extras I then have. Heck, I was only missing the last issue of Magnus! But I bought the whole run just to get it. (And to keep the 1-8 too). The rest I'll trade.
In any case, let folks here know when you decide to put them on ebay and you'll probably get some good business.
I hate that you have to sell off your collection, though.
