caxiotis' story.
My story is kind of different. After a long night cocaine and heroin, I woke up in a daze. I found myself in a local comic shop. I had no idea how I had gotten there, but I remember seeing a broken window and noticed that my hand was all cut-up. Somehow in my intoxicated state, I had busted into the store, made a bed out of old back-issue comics, and fell asleep against a wall. The worst part of this story is that I found a dead prostitute lying on the bed of comics. I had no idea what I had done and was in shock by the whole thing, so I ran. As ran out of the store I grabbed some comics and put them in my coat pocket. I fled to my house. When I got there I was shaking so I decided to read the comics I had stolen for comfort. The comics turned out to be Solar Man of the Atom issues #1 -10 and Magnus Robot Fighter #0 – 9. I sat down and read them all cover to cover. Those stories changed my life. It was like Shooter was talking directly to me through those books. I remember hearing a voice saying “Magnus wants you to shoot heroin between your toes” and “Solar wants you to get sober.” I decided to listen to Magnus and went on a three year bender. Since then I have always loved valiant comics and one night I found my self at this website. It's like kismet.
My real story will come next time…………………………………. or will it?
