ok, i'll say it...i think the version MAC inked himself is better.
i know austin is a legend and all, but that piece just doesn't do it for me.
for me, MAC's is superior...

Sometimes it is nice to be a noob. I just stumbled across this thread and got to look at 53 pages of AMAZING art for the first time all in one setting.

Wow, this version is MUCH better than the Austin inked one. There are way too many lines in the Austin version, he seems to have went a little crazy with the cross hatching. MAC's is much cleaner. I'm not an artist by any means, but I know what I like.

Apparently Trent loved it. I emailed his family after seeing this last night and they say he took this one with him to heaven. That is quite a compliment Anthony - not too many artists get to have heir work shown there

That ASM 122 alt cover is fantastic. I still remember the day that baby hit the stands. I couldn't believe Gwen was really dead.
