I've ordered from DCBS before, and have always been impressed. THey are good.Daniel Jackson wrote:I couldn't believe how well mine were packed, they arrived in great shape.Dr. Solar wrote:Mine are in the mail from DCBS, but I haven't received them yet.
The frustrating thing is that for the last couple days the tracking information has said it is in Richmond, 15 miles away, rigth across the bay.
I can't wait to get one [two] of these.

I was kinda expecting the worst actually when they seemed to be dragging their feet on getting these out. It all worked out in the end though. I'll probably use them again sometime in the future.Dr. Solar wrote:I've ordered from DCBS before, and have always been impressed. The funny thing is that I ordered a few other things because I figured I might as well since shipping is the same price up to like $50 or something. I got the things I didn't care for much a long time ago, and have been waitign for the Harby hardcover for a LONG time.
I use their sister company, instocktrades.com a lot. All trades are around 40% off, and you get free shipping on orders over $50. I've always had REALLY good service from them. They ship trades by media mail, I'm sure that's why it takes a while.

I got mine from amazon about a week or so ago, didn't take long to get to me at all. I'm really impressed with the quality and the presentation, and the story is good, but...
The story seems a lot more rushed than it did the first times I read it. Maybe because I haven't read Harbinger (wasn't one of my favorites) since about 1993 it just didn't age as well to me, but the spider-aliens issue seemed kind of silly (hey, there's a space ship, let's jump in!), then the Christmas issue (we haven't seen you in five months, but it's okay, here's a Batman doll!). I haven't finished yet, and it's a fun read so none of the complaints really matter; Harbinger just doesn't seem as grown up as I once thought it was.
Overall, I still give the book an A though, and I hope there's more to come!
