Sequart's review of HARBINGER: THE BEGINNING ...
...is now live and up on Sequart.org. Click here to check it out. Please, feel free to post comments to let us know what you think.
There is also a short interview with Chip Carter, VEI's Vice President of Marketing that can be found here. It's mostly just the same information that has been circulating for a while now, but we are very pleased and excited that Mr. Carter took the time to speak with us.
Enjoy, and let us know what you think. Thanks!

Totally agree with the review, what you say about the whole package, the new story and the recoloring. Spot on.stephenpakula wrote:...is now live and up on Sequart.org. Click here to check it out. Please, feel free to post comments to let us know what you think.

And according to greg the story is dated as taking place in the 90's.CARTER: (Regarding real-time, please see "Origin of Harada" story in HARBINGER: THE BEGINNING!

I thought Shooter said that was fixed for the hc.Besides, there are little things that bug me like having Harada and Pete know each other in issue zero even though Harada basically introduces himself to Pete in issue #2.

I guess that's a comment about a little thing that bugged him in the original,ManofTheAtom wrote:I thought Shooter said that was fixed for the hc.Besides, there are little things that bug me like having Harada and Pete know each other in issue zero even though Harada basically introduces himself to Pete in issue #2.

Very Non-spoilerish review. Now, Pak, what about doing the next Tangent, for Harby # 3? Anyways, I am having a heck of a time getting a copy of the HC. My local store, which had said they would special order it for me, may not be able to come through. None of the other stores will go through Valiant in order to get it. They are all of the "Previews or nothing" mindset and one total fool actually tried saying "it didn't get released because they are still fighting over the rights". He doesn't seem to be aware that it has actually been released and people have not only bought and read it but...my word, bought and read it! Sounds like a release to me, no?

The Tangent column will continue! Promise. And it will be very spoilerific. The plan for the column is to go through everything up to and including Unity. And depending on what we see from VEI, I'd love to see their new stuff in the column as well. What do you guys think?xodacia81 wrote:Very Non-spoilerish review. And by they way, after rereading the hardcover, I'm really digging the new origin story. Hopefully a sign and great things to come.

No, not from Leifeld...from those Civil War and Spidey guys over at Marvel. They make Leifeld look like Mr. Dependable.xodacia81 wrote:Did Pak learn his ideas about promises and due-dates from Rob Leifeld?
Sorry for the long delay! Things have been busier than ever, but I admit it's still a lame excuse. The good news is that work has commenced on the next few columns, but they won't start to be posted until I have a few more in the can. That way it can truly be on a more regular basis. But in the meantime keep your eyes posted here for some other non-Valiant comics related things...
Now back to the important stuff...when are we going to get some juicy news from our new favorite old publisher?!
