I hate to be an *SQUEE*, but not quite, Bro. It is a direct rip of the Pieta Virgin. The dominance of the female form to show the frailty of the Mags Jesus character is the defining characteristic of the Pieta. As you can see in both of them, the female from is about 20-30% larger than the male. The covers on that link are not really similar in any way, where the female form is uncharacteristically large. Interesting side note, the left index finger of the Pieta has been broken several times and has been epoxied back on.

I wasn't familiar with the statue that was pictured in the thread earlier, so I had no idea of the connection. Looking it at, it is obvious that is what the Harbinger #14 cover is based on.

Compared to others, I dont think the Marvel Comics #1 Magnus #6 homage is as good as others.

Can someone explain the Doctor Mirage is a homage to? I cant seem to figure that one out.
