...and Joe Petrilak was selling those kits when he was raising capital to pay off ZWH.

I am pretty sure that's one of them.

There's a long thread on the subject. A mutual agreement was reached for finalising everything (which I think in the end was a non-cash deal) and items were confirmed as shipped out. I believe that's as far as was reported.

Like Chiclo suggested, this seller won one of Joe Pet's auctions and appears to be flipping the contents.

He's had it up before. We discussed this sentence: "YOU WILL RECEIVE THE COMBINED SCRIPT/ART, NOT SEPARATED AS PICTURED ABOVE."

Can't know for sure, but it could possibly mean that he's printed out a file that has circulated on internet.

Right, I emailed this guys before and he stated that these are just copies, thats it..

It would be neat to get that stuff and finish the project the way we all think it should be finished.. does anyone here on the board have a copy???

We could at least turn it into a PDF and distribute it that way...

Or make copies, get signatures and turn it into a project ;) Hmm...

Or better yet, have VEI release it as their next HC.

I have not read the thread mentioned but I bought this set to Joe Petrilak. There are 3 books (mere copies) plus the published comics and the signed preview. One of the books is a story written by Petrilak and if I recall, the other 2 are Shooter's script with some panels and pin-ups. From what I see on the photo, it could be an original set: mine had this aspect.

You made a good purchase Pierre. This is a funny item to own. What do you feel about the end of Unity 2000?

Just one thing when you're comparing the items:

My understanding, right or wrong, is that the picture from the seller specifically is not showing what he is selling.

Agreed on all points Magnus.

My guess is that he won one of Joe's original auctions for these & made copies so he could keep the 'originals'. Still a fun item to own, but not quite as advertised by my thinking. :thumb:

Yep, milking them as he goes.. Im sure hes made his money back several times ...

Does anyone on the board own these? Maybe not if no one has announced it...
I mean, hey, if this guy can copy and SELL them, then we should be able to copy and send pdfs of the thing to our members here.. no?
