A very nice price. I wish I'd had the money to outbid him this week. Won by one of our own. ;-)

Wow, now I wish I hadn't gotten rid of those 40 or so Transformers issues I had last year. I had 3 of number one. :o

This one is a Harbinger #1 PGX 9.6
and NOT CGC 9.6.

IMO a big difference :atomic:

I expected that to top $100.00 --- a print run of 1,000 copies and real tough to find in even 9.4. We might look at that as a bargain someday... :hm:

I only have 1 copy right now & it's not in the best of condition. I'm hoping this copy is better. :hope:

I have yet to see a ash can version of it though... You got 1 to trade?

Great book. BIG price.
Yeah, that's one of the last Acclaim books I need too, but he can keep it for that price.

That Valiant Heroes special sold for $200+ recently, so I'd say this is a bargain in the current market. :)

That said, please notice you don't see a 'Stanchek71" winning bidder for that auction. :thumb:

The crazy bidding on ebay right now seems to focus on the VH1 books, but maybe when they get around to the Acclaim stuff they'll go for that price.

Given the rarity of the book it's not totally unreasonable, but like I said I just can't bring myself to pay that much and I've been looking for one for quite awhile now.
