Finished X-Men Legends. That game is long and addictive as hell. The part where you get to beat the crap out of Shadow King as Professor X was just wicked cool.
Just got the Mega Man Annivesary Collection. All 8 Mega Man games for the consoles plus two unlockable arcade games! It's a nice bit of history. I had forgotten there were Super Nintendo and Playstation games in the series. I'm trying to make my way through the games mainly in order (we'll see how long that lasts). The original Mega Man is tougher than all get out.
Just picked up XIII for four bucks yesterday. Incredible to look at and just a ton of fun to play. I get a giddy joy taking hostages and breaking chairs over people's heads. And the "Ahhhh" you get when your enemy falls off a ledge is so nice. It's no Doom 3 but it's a very solid FPS.

I'm firmly settled in with Bioshock right now and loving every second of it.
I think I've officially lost interest in Oblivion. The game is just taking too long and I'm really not enjoying it. I like my RPGs to be a little more turn based. Also, if I'm going to be playing a game in the FP route, I'd rather be blowing stuff up. Would anybody like a barely used copy? I can offer it up for $45 shipped in the US.

Okay that didn't last long, I already gave up on the original Mega Man on the anniversary collection! LOL
I doubt I beat it even as a kid. The cyclops/yellow devil/rock man/ whatever-you-call-him is freaking impossible, especially without using the NES Advantage.
I moved on to Mega Man II (already got most of it beat). Much easier and the graphics, character and background designs, gameplay, etc are such a joy. What a great game, even after all these years.

My biggest complain about Oblivion has nothing really to do with them. It's just I've been playing WoW for so long that the idea of starting any other RPG just makes me sick to my stomach. So I think I only made it about an hour into that.iccarus wrote:I'm firmly settled in with Bioshock right now and loving every second of it.

Bioshock was okay, but the no coop was a huge turn off to me. I'm still hooked on Rainbow Six because of their great coop support.

I really liked Oblivion, pretty easy to pick up and play. All that turn-based cr@p can get really annoying. FF is ok but thats because its epic.etos45 wrote:My biggest complain about Oblivion has nothing really to do with them. Well, I finished Bioshock last night (on Medium). I won't spoil the ending for those still working on it.
I'm seriously thinking about going back through it again. I missed some audio diaries and want to get all the gene tonics.
I managed to get 695 GP off one play through of the game, which is the best of anything I've done yet. Very few of the achievements in the game carry a high value, but there's tons of stuff to unlock. I think I prefer that over the standard "play straight for 10 hours on one task to get 50 GP" that most games have.

Arg, I'm so behind... I just started Dead Rising on 360, thinking I could save Prime for a few months down the road... didn't realize Mario Galaxy was so close!Daniel Jackson wrote:I'm hoping to be playing Mario Galaxy by then.iccarus wrote:I have to wait until Christmas to play that.Daniel Jackson wrote:I'm about a third of the way through Metroid Corruption and it is easily the best Metroid game so far.![]()
