If Valiant were to ever make a comeback, what books would you like to see and what characters do you think should be included. And who would you like to see draw and/or write those books?

I would like to see the following books

the original Harbringer series (same first 7 issues just with new art work and a revamped script to make it more modern

Eternal Warrior

Magnus (old school Gold Key storys)

Shadowman (make this series more like the Constantine movie, dark. Revamp the character to be more mysterious)

Rai ( I like the original Rai from the Pre-Unity)

One Character I would like to see come back is Master Darque. The original with all the Tatoos. I would make him more scarier like Marlin Manson looking.

Anyone else have any Ideas?

I would like to see them go back to how Rai originally was with the Dragon City of Japan. I always loved the whole premise and thought they ended it much too quickly.

If I was to do my own personal take on Valiant Universe it would be as follows:

The Harbinger Foundation Seven teenagers each with superpowers go
to a mysterious foundation led by Toyo Harda who believes that those with
these powers are born to rule to the Earth and the seven teens who came
there disagree with that.

Woman of the Atom Solar, the Man of the Atom has been MIA for close to 15 years and is thought to be dead. Gayle Seleski, his widow, has just died of cancer, but before unlocking her daughter, Riana Seleski, powers. Powers that might make her more powerful than her father ever was! As Riana adjusts to new life as an energy being a mysterious woman claims that she knows what happened to her father and her father is alive! Riana Seleski goes out to find out what happen to her father, but can she this mysterious woman?

Magnus, Robot Warrior In the 41st century after a deadly war with robots called Freewills that ended with the Freewills and their human allies
called Gophs have left Earth and now the new earth goverment as been formed and mankind now has colonies on both the Moon and Mars and has begun to explore the universe. But this golden age has came at high price with so many of the Freewills and Gophs dead and humanity now is
comfortable now the newest versions of Freewills have returned to Earth to "liberate" from the corruption of the Human Government and their weapon is Magnus! Magnus is the offspring of a Freewill and a Goph called a Cyb. His mission is simple: to infiltrate the government as a "robot fighter" a super-human whose job it is to rid the world of evil renegades robots and help other Cybs infiltrate the world's government. Magnus knows this and is willing to whatever it takes to keep his cover and as he learns more about humanity he starts questioning the logic and reasons behind the Freewill and Gophs conquest of Earth.

Rai and Ninjak In 41st century Japan there are two superheroes
Rai (whose basically a Superman like character) and Ninjak (a Batman
like character) these two characters are as different as night and day.
But what they don't is each other's secret identities and that their married
to each other! Ninjak this time is a woman whose family hates Rai's family and vice versa. Their marriage is more of one for convenience than
love that is until they find out each other's secret. This gives a whole new meaning to phrase love hurts. Think "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" with superpowers and energy swords.

X-O Manowar During the Battle of Gettysburg, Jeb Whedon a Confederate solider is abducted a by a race of Spider-aliens who are planning to turn certain people into super heroes, because an evil race of
aliens called the Malevs are planning to conquer the Earth, as the experiments are underway a Malev ship attacks the Spider-Aliens ship.
The Spider-Aliens put Jeb Whedon in a escape pod with experimental battle armor but just before both ships are destroyed in the battle, the Spider-Aliens realized that during the confusion of the battle the escape pod is fired in the wrong direction they are able to send the pod's computer with the info that will make the pod return to Earth in the year 2007! So when Jeb Whedon awakes he suddenly finds himself in modern day Atlanta Georgia, armed with the most powerful weapon in the universe!

Shadowman New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina a man named Jack Bonifire is thought to have died in the storm, but what nobody knows is that Jack is alive and well as the city's protector Shadowman! Shadowman is a zombie under the control of a mysterious Voodoo Queen called Old Nettie, who wants revenge on a powerful crime lord named Darque, whose Voodoo power rivals her own. Shadowman fights evil and tries to regain his lost humanity and gain his own freedom from these two powerful Voodoo Lords.

The Adventures of Turok and Captain Johner In 1870 Montana, former Confederate Captain Elias Johner is living in peace and quite until
one day an Indian named Turok and his son Andar come looking for a
man of blackness who killed their tribe, the Anasazi, centuries ago! The
man of blackness rises out of a shadow and kills Andar, and Johner's wife
and daughter and nearly kills Turok and Johner. This man of blackness
calls himself Dr. Eclipse and he makes his way to Lost Land with Turok and
Captain Johner in hot pursuit! However once Turok and Johner enter the Lost Land they may not be able to leave again!

Hopefully VEI secures the rights to Magnus so we can have the two characters interacting with each other again.

Wow, Cyberstrike. that's some great stuff. I myself would make shadowman this way...

SHADOWMAN

Jack is not your ordinary man in a black suit and trench, no, He is known has the Shadowman, investigator of the strange and hunter of evil. His name is whispered in the darkest places with fear. He treads where no mortal man would step to bring to justice the faceless ones so that the nameless may rest. Evil beware when the Shadowman appers.

ETERNAL WARROIR

Born in 3268 B.C. Gilad Anni-Padda has seen much. To the rise and fall of great empires, to the birth and death of the one who is to be called The King of kings. Gilad has great strength and can heal from the most sever of injurys. Now in modern America, he searches for the love he once lost many centuries ago while hunting down an Immortal serial killer from his past.

the storyline of him looking for this immortal lover he had and trying to catch the serial killer would run through the whole 1st series. It would be like a 12 issue mini series. A the end of the series we would find out that
the killer was really his brother and he knew the whole time. his brother would kill his lover and then in turn during a huge fight seen that spans the last 2 issues his brother would apperantly be killed at the end. In an epologe, in the police station's basement 2 coriners walk in to examine the body. Before they can turn on the lights, one slips on the floor. the other turns on the light only to find that the examination table is empty and a trail of blood from the table to back door indicates that he is still alive.

As far as Shadowman goes I would like to see all three being used. Max St. James, Jack Boniface and Mike LeRoi. I think it would make a unique variation of story lines and situations this way.

I'm still holding out for my "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover to start with. I don't have a plot but basically take all the damned versions of Valiant, mash them together, send whatever characters are not going to be used in the reboot...

("The first rule of Reboot is we do not talk about Reboot"...please tell me others have seen the Youtube 'I'm a DC and I'm a Marvel' parody of the "I'm a PC and I'm a Mac" commercials. They kill me)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=av6fWfmugds

...ahem, put all the unused characters into the Lost Land (because if we kill them, some *SQUEE* creator is going to come in 5-15 years from now and just HAVE to have a story involving Doctor Mirage and we went and killed him in the original crossover but he convinces the editors to allow him to do some lame-*SQUEE* Retcon and voila...DC Lite.

:?

sorry, I need my meds. Open with a 6-12 issue "Crisis" crossover and then relaunch with at least 6 books by month 4.

With Harbringer, I would like it to start from the first 7 originial issues and characters and just change the clothing, hairstyles and terminalogy to fit the times. It would be great to keep the series dealing with real life issues. Kind of like a heroes meet x-men meet teenagers.

But would you need the same characters? They could not be kids. To me Harby was always about "super-powered" youngsters trying to make it work.

But I do think that Sting should be in DNV.

That's a joke, right? It has to be. The original TPB only had the first 4 issues.

Armstrong is a proud member of The Future Force, and Gil is a drunk in 41st century.
The idea for Rai and Ninjak is too an update for the mismatched heroes
series like Archer & Armstrong and Quantum and Woody but
I thought a futuristic Japanese superhero version of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" with a samurai superhero and a ninja superhero would be different.

The X-O idea is a slight variation of an idea for a super hero of my own creation.

Well my idea was to a Solar book without the Solar character in it.
