That the Gold/Platinum issues are included if you pay for them. Seems kind of dirty.

Not really a big deal but the title is misleading and the text could be presented better in the body of the auction so there is no confusion . . .

Agree with all here. Walt's great, but his title could be clearer. And eBay does not like extra sales if they don't get their fees...

If the AUCTION is not for the Unity Gold & Plat, then they should NOT be in there.

I'm sure WW is a great seller, but that's really mis-leading, and, IMO, cheesy.

I won't be asking anything from him, personally.

Did you know:

Walt Wang may not be a porn star, but he should be.

The title does lend some confusion, but I just bought nearly the same deal from the seller and I had absolutely no complaints.

He does do that for a lot of his auctions. I was another one who won an auction with an "add on".

To me, this is like perfectly healthy, capable people who insist on parking their car directly in front of the doors to the local grocery store, instead of walking the extra 20 feet from the parking lot - I don't do it, no-one is SUPPOSED to do it, why should anyone be allowed to get away with it?

This is blatant disregard for eBay's selling policies. Again, if the gold&plat are not part of the auction, but are an additional purchase, then it's against the rules. I had multiple auctions taken down because I SAID I ACCEPTED CASH. Why should this be allowed to stay?

I agree with you slim. These "cherry pick" style listings are specifically prohibited. There was a time where they were policed pretty heavily, although I have noticed more than a few recently.

I would give Walter a "eh, I don't care" pass if it wasn't in the title, but you can't put something in the title and then say you need to pay extra for it in the listing. Right? Right. :)

That's the whole issue, right there. Say whatever in the body of your auction, but don't advertise goods that aren't part & parcel.

-slym (did he really just say "part & parcel?") :?

I'm with Slym too. I have had auctions taken down without explaination saying my title wasn't right, and all I did was abreviate some stuff to fit it all in. (Most of these were before the subtitle option though)

Hmm... I see the auction is still up. Sorry, whovi, I sent the "alert" in before you were high-bidder, I believe.

If it goes away, you know who to blame.
