Question about Broadway comics

Comic universes no longer active, Bravura, Continuity, CrossGen, Future, Malibu, Ultraverse... and others that are 'no longer with us' today (or only recently brought back).

Question about Broadway comics

Post by Lightning Strike »

A couple weeks ago me and my two boys went to a small con near where we live and I was able to snag some DU comics out of the .50 cent bins:

Various Defiant issues, Starslammers #1 from Bavura, Rai #7 (couldn't believe I found this in a .50 cent bin) and about a dozen Shadowman issues (some of them Unity).

From Broadway:
-Powers That Be #1
-Fatale #5
-Knights on Broadway #1 signed by Shooter (with COA) and #2

I didn't have time to actually look through them until today and was quite surprised at how good the artwork was. If the writing is equally as good, I think I'm going to really like these comics.

A question though--what are Fatale's powers?

She was able to temporarily absorb the skills, memories and powers of others through physical contact. She could absorb the abilities of hundreds of people at a time.

Fatale's mother Donna was only 16 when a cult called The Brotherhood kidnapped her off the streets and offered her to what appeared to be a dragon-like demon. It raped her, leaving her pregnant. She was resuced from by a guy named J.P. 'Fitz' Fitzgerald, and old flame of her mothers. Donna was taken away from him as some sort of punishment by the Brotherhood. He hid Donna from them during her pregnancy, but she died moments after childbirth, naming her daughter Desiree. Knowing the Brotherhood was closing in, Firz gave the child to his friend Duke for safekeeping. Fitz was captured. Duke left Desiree in the care of a local couple who raised her. Fatale was hunted by the Brotherhood... and get this, The Brotherhood was led by her half-sister. How screwed up is THAT ?

So she is a human/demon hybrid... and yes, her boobs were very big.
