I'm thinking a tale of friendship. A legion, some goats, 1000 years from now...

That would be rad.

Either that or X-O Manowar vs. the Smurfs.

Or, you know, just an X-O Manowar hardcover.

A big FCK NO to Unity 2000 <blech>

I'll say of the options a follow up to the original harby series.

surprises me a lot of ppl just want a repackaged x-o. sure it'd be nice but i'd love to see some new stories :thumb:

Alpha & Omega is a good idea. Unity would also be good. Whatever they do I think they should go on establishing a continuity.

Of the options available, I went with the X-O TPB. Butmy number 1 pick would be a new Alpha & Omega HC.

A Shooter Unity 2000 series could open the door to getting Valiant back on the track it was on when Shooter was heading it...

Have you read U2K? It's not much like preUnity...

I voted X-O HC in the same spirit thats giving new life to Harbinger. I think we'll see a lot of the same beginings, but new changes shortly afterwards...

I'd love for A&O or Steel Nation HC, but it's still a ? as to whats going on with Random House on the GK3.

I'm at a love-hate relationship with U2K, as it sucked as story line (or at least where it was going as story). However, they only ever finished 3 of the 6 issues... If it were to be re-issued with a different ending than the one intended originally, then I think I would be more in favor. (technically, it wouldn't be retconning the original story, since it was never published).

At anyrate, I'm already eager to get my hands on whatever is next from VEI

I never read U2K. From my understanding, wasn't Shooter setting it up so there was a Shooter Valiant, post Shooter Valiant, and Acclaim universes? If so, it would be a decent way of continuing with Shooters visions w/o retconning the bulk of the published comics.

Actually, at the end of U2K the Shooter VALIANT characters vanish after Solar drinks magic ink. It's the VH 2 characters that survive U2K.

Turns out that in U2K the characters that supposedly lived in the world outside your window were made up while the ones that lived in the reality with the surfing goat on a first name basis with the Legion of Super-Heroes were the real ones.

Go figure, heh.

If the X-O hardcover included a new story like the Harbinger did, then that would definitely be my choice without a doubt.

I'm actually hoping that VEI applies this same Harbinger HC treatment to all the Valiant titles.

I hear that! Maybe a new Unity HC collecting the whole story PLUS a new story that fits in with it. Now THAT would be cool

But...there's already one of those. Unless you mean a newly recolored HC?

How many of us would actually buy a Unity 2000 HC if it included the entire 1-6 set recolored and with a new short story that fit in with this storyarc?

I would. Just saying.

I'd like to see a reprinting/recolouring+new colour/original material hardbacked tome of awesomeness of whatever book would most appeal to the broadest number of 'not already' VALIANT fans.

After Harbinger I'm not sure what that is, maybe X-O, Maybe Magnus, maybe Solar, my personal favourite there would be Solar... but as they all appeal to me I'm incapable of judging.

SHADOWMAN baby

as for U2k HC, id buy it if it came with "ORIGIN OF THIS STORYS CRAPPY ENDING". who came up with the idea to kill off all the Valiant characters anyway?
