Did anyone on here ever win a VALIANT Gold off of the promos. Same as the "all of the VALIANTs" contest, anyone win any of those?

You have at least earned a VF merit badge for that one.

Were there any merit badges sold at SDCC before the VIP Ashcan?

How come when I don't intend a bad pun it can't get the *SQUEE*?

I won a gold Magus for placing an add in my local paper for the Harbinger Foundation, which is really cool seeing that according to Solar 10 the foundation is based in my town Bolivar Missouri. The telephone number that I listed for the foundation was my local comic store. I wish that I would have received a gold book from a series that I really liked but I am happy to receive one anyways.

I got a gold Rai 9 with a Turok chromium promo for listing a bunch of Valiants as my favorite books on a message board on Prodigy that a guy who was an intern at Valiant was a member of. He also arranged for me to take a tour of the offices. (I remember thinking, "Wow! That's Don Perlin's light box!" :D )

The store owner did say that he got some calls and business from it, but he also got a call from a sexually confused guy looking for help.

I was one of 300 winners of a Wizard Scavenger Hunt contest . . they sent like 20 gold and variant books out from different comics . . . I think Rai 9 & TSLODM #1 were the Valiant golds.
