ATTENTION: VALIANT DVD **COMPLETE** COLLECTION..! FINAL CALL
I now have the complete VH1 collection downloaded & verified...!!!!
This collection includes every VH1 book + Unity 2000, & includes some of the Gold Key issues, original Valiant art, Valiant employee photos, checklists, articles, etc... I have only found 3 books to be missing. These are Shadowman #42 & #43, & Deathmate Pink Preview.
I have also included with this Miracleman #1-#25 (plus a VERY rare MM suprise) & Wolverine: The Origin #1-#6.
The CDisplay install exe is included with this, so that you can view these issues easily with large high resolution scans!
As an added bounus, I also threw in 2 books that aspiring comic artists will enjoy.
I am working on compressing these with WinRAR so that I can put them onto 1 DVD. If this works, I will include a WinRAR install exe with the DVD so that everyone can extract the files. If this does'nt work, I will just put them onto 2 DVDs & take a small loss.
I will take orders until WEDNSDAY, & then I will start to burn these & ship them out. The cost is $8.00 & you can send payment via PayPal to jamesswoboda@msn.com. Please PM me after payment & include your name & address.
IMPORTANT: This DVD is intended to be a back up of your EXISTING collection. This is being provided for those that are unable to create their own back up copy for personal viewing. The $8.00 fee is not for profit. It is for production & shipping costs.

Valiant DVD Mising issues
Boda,
If I am remembering correctly, the Deathmate Preview Pink is a reprint of the the Deathmate Preview Orange, so it really isn't necessary for the DVD collection.
And you're welcome on the missing issues. It was no problem and I was happy to assist.
Thanks
Steve

Email attachments?
How large of an email attachment can you receive?
I just checked my Shadowman 42 and 43 files and both of them are corrupt. I'm in the process of downloading them and neither is greater than 3.5MB. If I get them tonight or early tomorrow, I could email them if you can receive attachments that large. Drop me PM or a reply.

Valiant DVD
COOL...COOL...COOL...
Thanks to Steve, and Boda (and everyone else involve) for all your efforts. It will be great to see the DVD, and to be able to have it handy at places and times that pulling out the long box is just not practical. I am waiting patiently (NOT!!) to get my hands on the disk. Again thanks to all involved!

Tommorrow is the last day I can take orders. I will start to burn these on Thursday & get them in the mail. I will have to put this collection onto 2 discs due to the size & it will take some time, but I will get these out ASAP.
Thanks for the support in getting this project complete. I want to thank a few of the members, but I will wait until the majority of these are out.
It looks like this will be a success

I am starting to burn these & mail them out in the order I received them. It looks like I will be able to do 5 sets of 2 discs a day. It takes me approx. 30 min. to burn 1 set.
I will post a notice when they are all mailed out. If you have not received your discs in a week after this notice, PM me & we will get it worked out. If you receive a disc that does not work, PM me also & we can get it fixed.
I'd like to thank John Hickman for meeting with me today. Thanks to him, I was able to keep the costs down on this project....!
He took time out on his lunch break, & was able to help me get the DVDs & mailers I needed for a GREAT price.
Enjoy.... Boda

OK...
The majority of these went out in the mail today. I have about 4 more to send out from members who got in late (+ John Hickman's copy for helping me out). I will get these remaining discs sent out on Monday.
So about 98% of you should have your discs by the middle of next week. I'll put out an announcement when 100% of them have been sent out. If for some reason you did not recieve your disc by then, PM me.

Your the 2nd person that has asked me this, so I will put out a small instructional:johnpaulbill wrote:Mine arrived today! Thanks for all your time and work that went into this project. I just have one question. How do you open them? I've tried all of my computers and DVD players to no avail!I need some help here. Anybody......? jp
1: Insert the DVD into your DVD drive.
2: After it has stopped "spinning", go to Start>My Computer>DVD drive
3: Double click on your DVD drive & it should open the contents of the disc.
4: After that, follow the instructions on the disc on installing CDisplay.
Hope that helps.... Boda

I followed your instructions exactly, and Windows says "Please insert a disc in to the drive."
The disc is already in there.
I've My Computer'd, I've Windows Explorer'd,
and I've even tried to go to the drive from MS-DOS.
There's no recognition of the discs by my machines...
I guess I'm just glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Valiant DVD
I got mine today...and the Valiant Gods must be smiling on me. I loaded my in, fired it up, and it worked great. (at least disc 1!) Hopefully, everyone will be able to work through the problems and be able to enjoy having copies on their computer. Thanks again Boda, and everyone involved in putting this together.

When you go to Start>My Computer> .... what is on the screen that pops up? It should have something like: 3/1 Floppy (A) Local DisK (C) DVD/CD-RW Drive (D) Shared Document folder Greg Holland's Documents folder.greg wrote:I guess I'll be the 3rd to ask... what's the deal?BodaZoffa wrote:Your the 2nd person that has asked me this, so I will put out a small instructional:

The disk should show up on the DVD/CD-RW Drive, or just plain DVD Drive.
If not, you might not have a DVD drive. If this is the case, let me know & I can burn these onto CD disks & mail it to you. It will be on about 6 disks, but you can drag & drop them onto your computer.
Just a reminder to clear up a little confusion. This is a DVD DATA disk. You can not play it with a DVD player, or DVD player software like Windows Media Player or WinVideo. You do need a DVD drive to access the data, though. When the disc opens up on your PC it will have folders on it containing the CDisplay program & the CBR files which are the comics that the CDisplay program opens.
