How much . . . :)
For the prototype? One red penguin.

I've seen better art than this on the bathroom wall of a convenience store.

I'm looking forward to the article on this (just to see what he says about it).

Hopefully, they'll be some coverage from the Panel in that write up too...

Yeah, where is the article? If this is what we have to look forward to, I'd say valiants already DOA.

The images shown here are from a scandal sheet thrust upon an unfortunate few at SDCC by VIP. Not to be mistaken for the real VALIANT by any means.

So,
1 guy has a big "v" pointing to his crotch, and the girl has pubs so long she needs to trim them.
another guy looks like one of the vampires on the blade movies.
Thanks for the "peak". Now I wont have to mess with actually "looking".
Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.

Article was not up as of today...I think my editor is getting quotes from VE before running it. I'm just back a few hours ago from SD...my brain is fried...and I'm sure I'll be back with all this tomorrow.

Brian has said about the dealer...I have him off the record but quoted exactly about what he said (thank you digital voice recorder).

I hope the article will be up tomorrow...and simply adding the next chapter to an interesting saga...if anything...we are having a Valiant soap opera...not that its a FUN SAGA...or an needed one...but its interesting.

But I have no need to vent...there is plenty of that going around. I'll be back tomorrow...going back to Zodiac now since my gf just asked me for the tenth time, "Are you f#U*( done yet!?!?!?"

Boy, after seeing that ashcan I'm completely psyched for what's to come!

All kidding aside, this is nothing but legal extortion on the behalf of VIP. They have no intention of launching a single book, IMO.

400yrs wrote:With that being said (and yeah, I know this is the fanboy thread for verbally smashing VIP) the art isn't bad. At least not as bad as an 8 or 12 year old as indicated. It has nothing to do with VALIANT or the names on the pages of the ash can, but the art isn't bad. Now back to the fan boyness of this thread.........
Seriously? Our local comic shop had art contests all the time when I was a kid, and the majority of the Junior High entries looked better than those... the whole thing could have been done by that goth kid that creeps you out working behind the counter of your video store.
