Somehow I feel that this is the kind of statement that some people here could turn into a joke about the french.

The way I understand it, the French are the most sex-oriented, the germans the most perverted and the italians the most adulterous.

And the spanish are the best.

At least from the way I understand it.

Drunk Irish chicks... sounds like just my type.

I was sticking to mainland western europe. I think these days, the Icelandic can out-drink the Irish. Then again, Irish and Vikings have never been on the best of terms.

The Icelandish may be able to out drink the Irish, but can they out drunk the Irish?

That may be up for discussion still.

From the same Wizard issue in the "Movers & Shakers" section:

Valiant Returns
"Some collectors were thrown for a loop when they saw Harbinger being set for reprint in August, especially with the news that Jim Shooter would write a new story! Valiant back issues have always had a core audience, so expect any new collections to spark interest in the already-present back issue market where Harbinger #1 is a $25 book."

Just found a 3rd article in the same Wizard issue, this time in the "News, Notes, Etc." section:

A Valiant Effort
"Valiant Comics-one of the biggest publishers of the 1990s which boasted 80 million comics sold and helped launch the careers of creators like Joe Quesada and Rags Morales-returns in August with a new hardcover collection of Harbinger ($24.95), about a group of outcast superpowered teens (think X-Men crossed with a precursor to "Heroes"). The trade not only contains the origin story (#0-#7), but includes a new "Origin of Harada" story written by Valiant founder JimShooter with art by fellow stalwart Bob Hall! Could an X-O Manowar, Shadowman or Magnus, Robot Fighter resurgence be far behind? Let's hope the Harbinger HC is a sign of things to come..."

BTW, they have all of the Harbinger comics as gaining value this month in their little price guide section.

I'm thinking of buying a copy myself. In fact, I may have to start buying it again for awhile just to monitor what they're doing and saying about Valiant. :)

Me too - hey, maybe he can scan the good parts and post them here, for reference!

That way, we don't have to buy the crappy magazine ourselves...
