Who's the most important villian in the Valiant universe?
Just wondering who people think is the most important Valiant villian: Harada, Master D'arque, or someone else?

While fighting naked can be difficult, Darque didn't really fight.
Besides, Harada is sorta like Dr. Doom of the VU - ultra-smart, ultra-powerful (yes, DD isn't exactly like Harada, but you get my drift) and had a knack for scheming and plotting.
Either of those two villains can give most anyone a run for their money, but Doom isn't VALIANT.
Harada it is.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Other. Meaning both. As well as any other good VALIANT villain. Bythat I mean it is relative, they are important to the books they appear in. Thus I'd add Sosa because of his appearances across a couple titles and the fact that he was an evil *SQUEE*. I'd add Dr Eclipse because he was a cool looking villain (well to me he was), which is always good. I'd say none is more important, it is just that some get more story time.
Great heroes need great villains.

Deathmate (or as it's known around here, 'toilet paper') doesn't really count, though.*SQUEE* wrote:She turned up to get spanked in Deathmate. But she was a good villian.

There seemed to be about 5 villains in Valiant that were memorable but
Toyo Harada-after Harbinger #25, he seems to disappear form VH1
the most believable of the villains.
Master Darque-Powerful but on a pure visual level he's looks like a wuss,
I prefer the VH2's visual look. He looks like he could kill Shadowman or
any body else for that matter.
Mothergod-stuck in a wormhole after Unity. She's my favorite villain.
Dr. Eclipse-cool looking villain but other than that totally forgettable.
The Spider Aliens-like Harada they they seem to disappear after The Destroyer arc in Solar, Man of the Atom I guess he wiped them out.

I always thought Harada was a perfect villain. He had his own goals that he believed in, and he was willing to get his hands messy to achieve them, but he wasn't bad just for the sake of being bad. His goals and methods were just counter to the Valiant heroes goals and methods, and that's where he got into conflicts. He was really machiavellian, which I can understand and appreciate.
Just a thought: Everyone keeps mentioning how Erica was gone after Unity, but that was the Erica from 4001. If DNV starts up in the modern age continuing from the old Valiant continuity, or post-Unity continuity, whatever, The Erica of 2007 will be alive and well, in hiding with Albert. She could easily be a covert villain in DNV.
