How fast does CGC update their census?

I actually sent some non-Valiant books in and was wondering how fast do they update their census? The books were sent on 07/05/07 and I saw a charge on my Visa on 07/16/07. From the time they charge my Visa is that when they actually started grading them? So, my question is how long after they charge my Visa at 07/16/07 do they update the census and hence giving me clues to what I maybe getting. I actually made a copy of there census data on the very same books that I sent in before they charge it on the Visa so I may no what to expect if when they are done. Or am I wasting my time here with CGC because they are slow at updating there census? If anyone can answer me this I would appreciate it. By the way, this is my 1st time I sent it to CGC.. Thanks...

I've never submitted comics to CGC, and have only been around discussions of CGC here, BUT from what I understand, you'll have your slabs in-hand long before the census is updated.

From what you said I thought it would go that route only because they have so many comics to go through. So, in other words probably like maybe 3-6 months after you receive the SLABS than the census will be updated with my comics added on to what the grade would be. Moreover, it means I can't fortell what I will receive but to wait til I actually have it on hand..
