The reasons this is a great project (in my opinion):dellamorte wrote:I chose 60 to stay in the spirit of the VfVSS projects so that members could continue collecting the number that they have always had. If the demand is there than of course we can make more.
Great original concept (I can't wait to see the re-do of the covers),
Consideration of everyone's needs and desires to keep their current # (mine is #51 BTW

MOST IMPORTANTLY, $$$$ to find a cure for CF (a chance for a normal dude like me to get a feeling that I am helping someway, somehow making a difference)
And of course, an amazing assembling of talent.
To all involved =

Fo sho'!
I agree. With the last CF project, I think we found out that 60 is a high enough number to please the masses, at least at this point. And I have to tell ya, this years CF VfVSS has been hard enough to find 60 books of any substantial worth AS WELL as a super cool book for The Alyssa Book has been hard enough on it's own.dellamorte wrote:I chose 60 to stay in the spirit of the VfVSS projects so that members could continue collecting the number that they have always had. Right now I agree with 60 being the number.

Some help?
I think this project is going to be excellent!!!! Im very excited.
I wonder if someone has the know-how to set this file up in such a way for us to take it to our local printer and print it up in hard copy>???? Im considering doing that with the Secret Weapons Project.. but Im not sure how to proceed.. maybe the preinter place will do it for me?? Not sure..

Some people have had a # for fan projects for a long time (I'm #18 since the Magnus 0 VcVSS) some have jumped around a bit. I always try and get the number to the person who collects it, it can be a pain since some numbers are somewhat shared by multiple members.
Since each file needs to be numbered and personalized I'll ask that everyone who is planning on being in just post here what number they have from previous projects and perhaps we can sort out a bit of the numbering issue before things go crazy (I hope) Saturday night.
So I'm #18
Zach (daydream) will be missing for the sign up and has asked for #33

I am afraid I will be late for the sign-up. I do hope for #7.dellamorte wrote:Some people have had a # for fan projects for a long time (I'm #18 since the Magnus 0 VcVSS) some have jumped around a bit. Yeah, I was very happy to get it done in time for this weekend, I wasn't going to go up agains San Diego so that would have pushed us back another week.betterthanezra wrote:Glad the sign-up is THIS weekend and not next with SDCC going on it would have been hard to get in...![]()

Hopefully this gives the ValiantFans something else to talk about at the con.

I really enjoy talking with, and getting tips from, other artists at the con.> Getting all the sketches last year was great.

This looks very cool, and for a great cause...I'm in! I just hope I'm around in time to get my name on the list (it IS Saturday night, after all). Just a suggestion: after the initial numbered 60 are spoken for, how about still making it available, but un-numbered? That way, it's still special (and limited) for the first 60, but you're not limiting yourself to the potential extra money you'll be able to bring in for CF. Just a thought...
