Valiant Zombies fight Cystic Fibrosis

Post by dellamorte »

I'm sure it comes as no surprise that the super secret cf project is

Valiant Zombies.

Almost a year in the making I'm pleased to say it is done. The project will be given away as a thank you for a $15 donation to Chris Scott's CF fundraiser this year.

This project will be distributed as a PDF. Each PDF will be numbered out of 60 and include the board members name and number in the credits page.

It features a brilliant painted cover by Stu Suchit (over equally great pencils my MAC)

The interior features black & white pinups by Daniel Brereton, Tommy Castillo, MAC, Yvel Guichet & Stu Berryhill, Phil Hester, Chris Morrill (x-omatic), Don Perlin, Howard Simpson, Eric Talbot, Ashley Wood and Charles Yoakum.

Also an 8 page story written by me with incredible art by Stu Berryhill.

Rounding out the package is a piece by Bob Hall colored by Ian Sokoliwski.

The PDF was created by Chris Gould (who did the recent Secret Weapons pdf) so you know it's in good hands.

I'll hold a sign up Saturday night at 9pm central.

Once the pdf's are distributed I will auction of a great deal of the original art for CF. Pieces by Berryhill, Castillo, MAC, Guichet, Hall, Hester, Morrill, Perlin and Yoakum are in hand and a couple more should be on the way.

I owe a huge debt of thanks to all the people who have contributed time and talent to making this project what it is. Everyone went way beyond anything I could have hoped for and I truly believe anyone who gets one of these will be blown away.

If I forgot anything and I'm sure I did, I will update this post.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

That is a fantastic way to *SQUEE* off the locals in Hawaii. "Oh, this doesn't cost this much back in the states!" will make their blood boil every time.

While I appreciate the kind words this was a very large group effort. I'm just happy I could have a small role in making this project happen.

That's awesome. I know that Chris is still having trouble getting the donation site up so any extra will help soften the paypal fees.
