Haven't seen a message board yet where the discussions weren't of a repetitive nature.jedimarley wrote:Keep in mind that people tend to repeat themselves when they have a discussion with MoTA.Todd Luck wrote:Sorry, I felt the poll was incomplete without a zero option so I pointed it out. Then MOTA wanted to discuss why if I didn't want to buy it again. It's never been a problem before to discuss projects you didn't want to buy, didn't appeal to you, etc so I didn't think it was a big deal for this one.Daniel Jackson wrote:It's fine that you don't want it, but what is bothersome is the fact that you have said it more than a few times now. It gives the impression that you don't care or approve of the new Valiant (even if that's not what you intended). I'm not a big fan of hard covers either and I've only collected a few, but I'm going to show support and buy this one regardless.Todd Luck wrote:slym2none wrote:Some VALIANT fan... I've never bought a tradepaperback of material I already own in order to get an "exclusive" short story in my entire life (I imagine many fans haven't). Just because I'm not going to do so now makes you mad? I don't get it.

Now this thread just needs to turn gay and it will be complete...Todd Luck wrote:Haven't seen a message board yet where the discussions weren't of a repetitive nature.jedimarley wrote:Keep in mind that people tend to repeat themselves when they have a discussion with MoTA.Todd Luck wrote:Sorry, I felt the poll was incomplete without a zero option so I pointed it out. Who said I was mad? Please don't try and put feelings to my posts that aren't there. As I'm sure you will get to read that 8-page story one way or another, what I said really was of little consequence, so there is no reason to try and make me a true bad guy. As most know, I can be an *SQUEE*, but I am by no means cruel or unusual while doing it.Todd Luck wrote:slym2none wrote:Some VALIANT fan... I hope he never gets to read it.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

That sums up my feelings well, DJ.Daniel Jackson wrote:It's fine that you don't want it, but what is bothersome is the fact that you have said it more than a few times now. Sorry, your posted sounded mad or at the very least, insulting to me. If you didn't mean it that way, I apologize.slym2none wrote:Who said I was mad? It's going to be interesting to see if Harbinger:The Beginning is going to be overprinted, or if perhaps there won't be anymore orders after the August advance reorder goes in.
I guess we should know soon.
The fact it's on Amazon and presumably other chain's websites could dry it up quicker than we think.
I doubt a massive overprint is in order, with the price being what it is.

Thanks for the quick response muzzsucker.
I felt compelled to check Barnes and Noble, and it's there as well.

Is there any chance these big guys will get a variant item from what comic stores will get, ie a different upc or different packaging?
I'm not sure if these guys get return rights or not on hardbacks.
