So I paided $25 for a vf/nm Amazing Spidey #149 and I get a piece of crap that I would say would cgc at 7.5 or less. So.cal.collectibles has yet to respond to either of my emails so I'm about ready to negative them and fill with square soft. Of course they have yet to leave me feedback so that once I negative them they will surely retaliate. Sellers should have only 14 days after payment is recieved to leave feedback through paypal. So this is quickly turning into a nightmare.

I recieved Amazing Spidey #148 that I paided $15.00 in vf/nm condition. The tragedy here is that the book might of passed for even higher grade but the good people at hiddentreasures mailed the book in an envelope with a piece of cardboard the size of a baseball card tapped to the book in the middle. It looked so ridiculous that I nearly laughed out loud at it. When I opened the bag and board to view the comic I saw the corner was completely bent all the way through the book and on the board obviously due to shipping. So now I've fired off an email to them as well.

$40 + 10 for shipping later and I still don't have acceptable clone saga books in my collection. It's not like I'm asking for freaking NM books. Just vf/nm will do. Am I cursed? AUGH!

Whet,

Don't buy from anyone who does not have an unconditional (or nearly so) return policy.

Period. Good deals on ebay are rarely that when it comes to comics.

I'm starting to request all books shipped to me boxed and pay more if i have to. However, if the grade is just crap to begin with there's nothing you can do. :x People must learn how to grade :!:

I'm thinking more along the lines of 'people must learn how to be honest'.

People must unlearn how to be dishonest. Mind you I take into account bad grading when I buy on ebay. If I want a NM book I go to the boards or buyers I know.
