Auction sniping service
Hi,any of you guys using an auction sniping service?Let me know which one is the best to use.I am losing out on some auctions tonight because there's something wrong with the bidding page on Ebay.I use to use Robo Bidder til the guy went out of business last year, and I never went with anybody else.Any help would be appreciated. thanks! I've used www.esnipe.com. It has worked well for me.

I prefer www.bidslammer.com although I don't know if there is any real difference between the different auto-snipers out there.

And when was the last eBay auction you won?Knightt_333 wrote:Nothing... I live for the thrill of waiting until the last 30 seconds and placing my bid manually.

You only pay a fee if you win. Every auction I have won the end price was always less than a .25 difference.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Esnipe is fne, but you have to PAY. 25 cents MIN PER AUCTION is a ridiculous fee. Ridiculous.
Especially when you win a couple hundred auctions a month.

Whoops, missed this thread earlier.
Auction Sentry. One time fee of $15 for unlimited snipes and the guy constantly updates the program. For a few more dollars he has an "updgraded" version of the software but I'm quite happy with what I have.

Yes, I figured that was assumed when I said 'especially when you win a couple hundred...'x-omatic wrote:You only pay a fee if you win. Yes, this applies ONLY TO AUCTIONS WON.
Still...I have paid several HUNDRED dollars to e-snipe over four years, just so I wouldn't have to be up at 4 AM to bid. And yes, I have done that.

After 1 year I can say it's VERY stable. I can count the number of times on a single hand when the software misfired and I missed an auction. Usually this is closely followed by an update as eBay made a change in their design. I will swear by it!ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:whetteon wrote:Whoops, missed this thread earlier.![]()

Never had a problem with it other then a few rare incidents. Dunno what to say. I guess you can pay your 0.15 fee to just get the privelege of placing a snipe on an auction like the other suckers out there. Good luck with that.COMICKINGS wrote:well so far,I've won 3 auctions and lost out on 4 because of something happening when the service is supposed to put my bid in.I can't tell what I'm doing wrong, because I have won a few with it.It sucks,I lost on some stuff I needed!

I have been using esnipe for about 1 1/2 yrs now and have not had a single problem. Other than not bidding high enough.

I've actually not had any problems until very recently, and then they dropped 10 bids in a row. Very disappointing.x-omatic wrote:I have been using esnipe for about 1 1/2 yrs now and have not had a single problem. Other than not bidding high enough.
By the way...how much are you paying in esnipe fees a month...?
