I don't know if that's the right forum to brag, but it's what happened today at my local comic shop to pick up more backboarders and sleeves. I asked the guy if he has any Valiant comics, he didn't know what Valiant is. He went to check on computer and through back issue boxes.

That comic shop mostly sells newstand comics and hardcover tradepaperbacks, but the back issues aren't the priorities to the comic shop. Valiant comics were hot in the shop in 15 years ago, but they don't have a single Valiant comic in one of the back issue boxes anymore.

However, the guy found a ton of Valiant comics in the $0.50 bulk boxes with a bunch of junkies. So, I went to look through those 5-6 boxes.

That's what I found the best Valiant out of them:

Solar #11
Harbinger #7
TWO X-O Manowar #16 with pink title cover (no cover price)

Sadly, those conditions are pretty much FINE since most of the damage are on the top from people's finger nails browsing in the bulk. Solar #11 and Harbinger #7 both got $1.00 price tagged on them. The guy tried to take them off with his finger nails and they seem off fine.

There are so many Valiant comics in there, but most of them are common post-Unity issues. Only one of them is Ninjak Acclaim/Valiant #4. So, I'm not sure if they're worth $0.50 each anymore.

I only bought 4 of them that I mentioned since they seem too good for $0.50 each.

Are those the X-O 15 Pinks?

I would go for that Acclaim Shadowman for 50 cents, but that's just me.

I know this sounds really vague, but maybe someone can follow up with more details, but someone once said that they knew of an aerosol spray that was particularly good for removing price tag goo.

Nah... too easy. Goo-stain jokes are wayyy too easy here.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Yes, you are correct those are #15. Like I said, there's only Acclaim comic I found is Ninjak #4. I have to agree with you about Shadowman since I've heard how great it is.

The goo is still visible, but I'd rather leave it there insteads of discoloring the page.
