Whatever happened to this guy? He did some great work on Moon Knight, his popularity soared and then....nothing. It's like he dropped off the face of the earth. What's he doing now?

Might not be the most popular stand to take, but it's alright in my book.

That man drew Thanos better than anyone else. Ever.
Thats great news if Thanos makes it into the VALIANT relaunch :thumb:

It does bring up this article:

I think I'd almost rather see undiscovered talent. If they have a good talent evaluator (Shooter) then they would be more likely to get solid talent across the board without paying crazy money to get it. :thumb:

Have you checked out the High Roads series he did? I think he would be great at an Archer, Armstrong, EW title.

David Lapham - just because. Him back on Harbinger would make me weep.
Mike Deodato - keeps getting better and better. His work on Tbolts is stunning.
Phil Jimenez
Adam & Andy Kubert (not that Adam is on time lately)
Daniel Acuna
Mark Bagley - another artist who reinvented himself when I took him for granted back in the day
Gene Ha on Solar
Joey Q
Michael Ryan
Ivan Reis
Sal Velluto
Don Perlin
Ernie Colon!
The one, the only JOHN ROMITA JR.

YES! Let's get Thanos in the Valiant Universe! He'd rule that popsicle stand inside of a week.

Starlin may be a great penciller, but as far as ideas go they tend to suck, specially in regards to VALIANT.

He's the one who thought that Alexander Darque should transform into a giant spider in U2K.

Frank Miller on Shadowman.

The original Shadowman, too. Pre-Unity Shadowman.

Jack Boniface out all night, playing Jazz, drinking, smoking, carousing and fighting in New Orleans in that first-person narration style like only Frank can write and draw it.

That would be awesome, I think.

Well after Moon Knight he got picked up by Liefeld's IMAGE studio and did super high profile work (at the time) on Prophet. He did some creator-owned work and I think did some covers for the recent Wildstorm relaunch.
Dang, man. I am not sure if Platt is really trying hard to be the best for his comic book career. What I know is that Platt is a party kid, so he might not have a time to be a serious comic book artist. I'd hope he got mature to join Valiant.

Thought of a few other creators I'd love to see at Valiant:

- Rick Leonardi (perhaps one of the industry's most underrated artists. One of the best "form" AND "function" artists.)
- Chris Sprouse (Very gifted storyteller with a clean, versatile & distinct style. Higher profile to boot.)
- Jerry Ordway (I don't see him on too many projects these days & that's a crying shame -- he's too good not to snatch up fast.)
